I highly recommend the escorted if you can. We thoroughly enjoyed it on our fist visit to Alaska. Our dedicated escort was fantastic and took care of details such as dinner reservations at the lodges, and even menu recommendations.

We would love to do this, also out of Quebec City. Would be happy if the Bahamas was added. We have also considered doing the B2B out of Quebec City, down to US ports, and then the return.

The upgrade part of our refund was applied to the card we had set up for onboard charges and I saw it a couple of days later. All done! My patience had been wearing thin but Princess finally came through.

So, our story... We decided to cancel on March 9th, and were due to sail on March 14th. I opened a file with AON (PVP) on the evening of the 9th. As we had cancelled, I was at work on March 12th when the news came out from Princess; had we not cancelled, we would have been mid-flight to Florida! I received an email from AON on March 14th advising that my claim had been closed because of the decision by Princess to cancel all sailings and that I would fall under that program. Using the link generously shared here on CC, I made our selection for Option #2 for which I received a conf

Checked and see my credit. Will have to check DH's account. I also see "Book by 12/31/21 and Sail By 12/31/21. Does anyone know how they calculate the credit? Not complaining because I am thrilled to get it but want to understand.

We didn't receive an email as yet and now I am not sure what to do! we cancelled our March 14th cruise on Monday and were told to do our claim through Princess insurance. I completed it that afternoon and it has been assigned since them. Should I fill out the form at the link or just wait it out? I have a feeling that the claim was put on hold given Princess was working on their eventual decision. would appreciate advice.

Exactly. This is why I go to the desk. I have even included my CAD credit card info and they applied it instead to the shipboard account credit card.

Agreed. When the exchange rate was more favorable, we would have some in both currencies so that I could take advantage of the best deal. Now, we buy them in CAD dollars. I go to the Desk to buy them in person with our CAD dollar card as they want to see the card, while my onboard account is connected to our US dollar card. It may take a little time but I would rather that than the conversion with all of the "extra" charges involved in that.

We purchased it on board last cruise we were one as next time will be our first as Elite! We also bought the Canadian flag for reverse.

I hold ours in my tax free savings account (TFSA) and don't touch them. The dividends get paid there. We are really glad that we learned about and then purchased them not long after the Costa Concordia incident.
