  1. No $100 excursion credit with the 'no frills' base fare ...
  2. Future cruise 2023 - no change to PLUS fare - excursion promo added meh
  3. at any bar - we just ask them not to open it - no problem ... now this is NOT a bucket of beer - which is not included in the PLUS package
  4. Rail transfer? - way back in the day we stayed at Captain Cook for a night , then took a bus the next morning...
  5. is ultimate balcony dining (UBD) being offered - for purchase, of course?
  6. we didn't dress up - but a lot did - one family had a whole 'star wars theme' costumes that easily took up a good sized suitcase by themselves. there was a holdover group of about 50-75 cruisers on a b2b ( out of about 500 or so we were told on the previous cruise ). They also 'dressed up (some R rated)' and also dominated the aft "adult" pool area, one of our go to places. We were shocked, to say the least, when we encountered that group upon going to that bar for our sailaway drinks. We found another place(s) for the remainder of the cruise.
  7. no double for suites obtained by "upsells" ( pre-bidding process ) but, really, how much does it matter anymore?
  8. also don't forget going to the International Cafe (if there is one on the ship) - lots of options there
  9. So, the highest bid can be rejected for a lower bid, just based on each bidder's current location?
  10. happened to us before - didn't know enough to know to check pre-cruise ... the next time it happened we knew, and parked at parkngo at the port and used their shuttle
  11. and CB will return to 2 - so will be easy for us to park at 2 like we did for Regal in January
  12. what is showing for CB departing on 11/23? ( and Emerald also in port ) nevermind, but thanks - in and out 2
  13. how far out will the definitive terminals be posted on the FLL/PE port schedule website? We have a somewhat similar situation ... on embarkation day, both CB and Emerald will be in port - but only CB will be returning on our disembarkation day
  14. upon embarkation - we are in the 'hunt and gather' mode - by Sailaway, we have a few regular waters, more fizzy waters, and a 6 pack of beer in the fridge. Having PLUS and being able to order on the app for cabin delivery has made this process easier - but we still prefer to visit the bars and introduce ourselves...
  15. Upgraded or Upsell to full suite? either way - SWEET
  16. no more 'free' internet minutes for Platinum ... but upgraded insurance still applies? bummer, indeed
  17. we also sail Thanksgiving week, but on the CB - we will decorate our door for Thanksgiving upon arrival, then change to Christmas either Thanksgiving night or that Friday morning. Yeah, we're "those people" when it comes to doors
  18. and yet, again, I am having NO problems ... just one cruise booked in November, dining booked - Green Lane, but need to upload Covid vacs/boosters I guess... not multiple cruises not multiple cabins not multiple links for other cruisers just basic - and yes, I had to "re-register" a month or so ago, no problem - I DON'T log in and out of the app or the web version
  19. NO problems with either website or app - Desktop - Edge - Iphone 10XR - updated
  20. 5th - solid showing, but not a lot of 'camera time'. I believe it's back on 10/23 for the Homestead/Miami Speedway race
  21. our next cruise is on CB in November - we have a deluxe (true aft) balcony on Baja that our price is currently below the website price (those cabins come and go as available, guarantee, or sold out). we have no desire to upgrade/bid on a mini or cc mini (don't like the shower/tub) combo. There are currently no suites showing as available, so, as for now we are set. If a suite 'did' become available, we would have to decide what that 'value' would be to us over a 5 day cruise. Our one and only, so far, suite was an 'upsell' which now looks like those may be a thing of the past.
  22. Not that I am aware - but you can always call and ask if you see a price drop in the same category of cabin you booked
  23. my Medicare supplement policy - (united healthcare thru aarp) reimbursed my complete medical center expenses on Regal Princess ($1,200) for medical emergency back in January. my AON (purchased thru Princess at booking - Platinum - is paying (per an e-mail just yesterday) a couple of deductibles - $90+35 that I had after returning home for an ER and cardiologist visit. this happened on board while docked at Grand Turk
