  1. After many, many, many cruises, I finally made it to the Medical Center. Had the best doctor I've had ever; well, maybe an exaggeration. But he was funny and very personable. He even accompanied me to my cabin. Don't get too excited. He wanted to see which brand of Paxlovid I had brought with me and administer a covid test to my cabin mate. I remember when....they had many episodes on the room tv. I enjoyed relaxing and watching them without commercials. Fun Thread.
  2. When I book a cruise with Princess, I have done it from insides to suites. Depending on the ports (intensive), number of sea days, etc, I may or may not purchase a beverage package. It was fine at $50 and usually did it for the convenience. But when in a suite/elite, there's plenty to keep me hydrated. My next cruise is without. The cruise after that is with. It's not such a bargain when you are Elite or Suite since Princess does not take into consideration either or. Princess really needs to consider a percentage break for Elite passengers since we are "entitled" to a 50% discount on Medallion Net. That's a whopping $7.50 per day that we are being charged "extra" for a package more than the ordinary passenger. They are "making" 12.5% more for each elite. Just give us a 10% reduction or $5 off each day. I can live with that. Over a one week cruise, they pocket $52.50.
  3. I see that you comment @Oxo really wasn't meant for me. Sorry for the error. But I have heard that the Ultimate Ship's Tour was worth the cost. It did more than the ones that "used to be": Used to be: *. tour of the bridge on port day (did this while in Skagway) *. culinary kitchen tour has returned after the pandemic. Interesting but way too long a line. * back stage tour give by a select few cruise directors that followed on stage panel. I've been behind the stage for many different (land) theater. This was more technical and very interesting.
  4. Thank you for your first hand account. With your Plus Package 50 you would still need to "add" the service charges. Please check with your concierge, Food and Beverage Manager, and/or Customer Service Officer to see if they have a policy. It's not the fee...it's the gall of Princess to require a service charge for something that is listed as a Suite Perk (MDR dining room in your own suite)
  5. ????? Jody's presentation was a "free" cruise director activity. It was worth every cruise penny I didn't pay for. Always wanted to do a Ultimate Ship's Tour and should have done it when I first started cruising and was in much better shape. I have had bits and pieces of seeing the crew area. Glad she took the time to share her videos and photos of behind the scenes. One of the best cruise directors I have run across.
  6. What’s a BDM? I understand that this “might” not be fleet wide consistent. I am waiting to hear of actual experiences verse what is written. I can’t believe that no suite passenger has reported back.
  7. I am poster #66. Is poster #65 currently on a cruise. Or has a cruise booked and received communication from customer service for upcoming cruise? I guess, I just want to hear from a suite passenger …. who has been charged … and how it was handled onboard.
  8. Wow...thanks for updating us. So glad you didn't have to escalate this and spend more time than you already have. Did you work with a TA?
  9. As far as I have read (and I admit that I skip around), this question has not been verified by anyone (currently or in the past) in a suite. Almost every ship should have implemented this pricing by now since it is the end of August. I can't believe not a single suite passenger...without a package, has not tried to call Room Service once for something. Still waiting to hear.
  10. Much is speculation. Maybe if you told us which cruise you were considering, it would let us know how much time you had to process your passport. Is the cruise next month or next year? Are you a born American or a naturalized American? Is it a closed loop or international?
  11. Caribbean Princess had the culinary tour after the demonstration on the last sea day. Jody, cruise director, did a presentation in the Explorers Lounge on a sea day. She had slides showing all the crew areas (in place of Ultimate Ship's Tour)...for free. It was enough for me since I can't do the ladders anymore.
  12. Is there a twin tour that is wheelchair accessible? You might care to look into that one. Maybe they would have a few more accommodations or modify the time.
  13. They have English Breakfast tea. I know Princess was dinged for not having really ht water. I think that has improved. Not sure since I am not a tea drinker. You can always bring a tea bag from the buffet and ask for hot-hot water. Or bring your own tea bag.
  14. They did not replace. I am sure they are rarely checked. @AZjohn - Drop the towel the next time.
  15. You can request: coffee tea bags of your choice hot water/lemon
  16. Princess rethinking latest changes? Or more changes to come? Grand Princess not available.
  17. Yes, got in, but voyages I constantly check are now saying "Currently Not Available".
  18. Worse...mold And that was an isolation cabin. You would think they would be more diligent regarding sharing communal items.
  19. And proof is in the photos...why I don't use those communal pump bottles.
  20. I have one of those coupon "book" coupons. "$10 in casino free play when you spend $20 in the casino." Do I go to casino cage and turn in my coupon? Do they add $10 to my $20 that I have to place? Do I have to "lose" all my $20 before their $10 kicks in?
  21. No printed ticket. All electronic saved to your CASINO account. Would someone explain free casino credit? Say I have a coupon for $10 if I “buy” $20. Which gets used first? Do I have to lose the $10 to get back my $20?
