  1. Chop's +1 has not been available for my sailings out of Bayonne for the last year or so. Had to reserve separately Chop's and Giovanni/Jamie for our upcoming Anthem and Symphony sails.
  2. So, in essence, even the Royal agents can't apply the solo supplement discount on the newly released itineraries. Funny, I'm able to get the promo discount on Odyssey April 20, 2025 (Easter week).
  3. Pricing looks suspicious. Lower for 2 in cabin vs solo. Is this comparison same balcony level.
  4. I have more of a problem/concern with my bags not getting off the plane or on embarkation my bags are mis placed somewhere in left field on my deck. I've got one of the ugliest looking bags that I can notice it a mile away.🤣
  5. Combination of both and especially at the terminal where a bottleneck occurs between the elevators and escalators. I have no problem wheeling or carrying my bags. On my December Harmony sail I had my carryon, backpack and my laptop bag and did a self-debark as I wanted to give myself flexibility since Bush Int'l is about 1:45-2 hours away. Good thing as my airport shuttle hit a traffic jam on the way. Otherwise, I take my time and reduce the hassle. By the way if I may ask, what is your primary reason for carrying your bags.
  6. The kid's menu is limited also. Prior to change I used to order from the kids if noting interested me in that night's menu.
  7. I always thought that self-debarkation was for those folks that had either and early flight or some other type of connections. How wrong I've been. On the October Oasis sail out of Bayonne, my family had a nice leisurely breakfast in the MDR and at about 8:15 we decided to debark. Wow the line stretched from one side of the Promenade to the other and most of the passengers waiting to debark had multiple bags and including the very large ones. They struggled especially some of the older Paxs as the line very slowly snaked thru the MDR and onto the running track. At one point, the line must have stopped for about 10 minutes as there was backing up at the terminal. When getting off they also had to navigate the elevators and some took the chance of the escalators. Our bags were waiting for us and not much of a hassle. Not to debate the issue, but why, unless there's concern of losing/misplacement of one's bags.

  10. But less entrees to select on a nightly basis especially with the addition of the vegan and Indian dish. Remember, Vegans had their own menu, although limited.
  11. You can order multiple apps and desserts. On occasions, I have requested and got multiple entrees, especially at lobster night. Specialty restaurants you can get mutiple apps and desserts. Only one entree. Prior to pandemic it was $10 for 2nd entrees--not sure what the cost is these days, especially with the current pricing.
  12. I was hoping Royal would follow Celebrity in introducing the favorite entrees every night.
  13. I've bad the same problem applying the promo on any of the newly issued itineraries. I've had success applying the promo on any of the old itineraries. For instance, while on board the Harmony in early December, I booked a similar sail for the December 2024 and no problem applying the promo. @Ourusualbeach mentioned that she had success by calling the Royal desk.
  14. I'm under the impression that they scanned all bags. I'm able to go thru security at Newark Int'l airport (Trusted Traveler) with my belt on, but at Royal security screening I was told to take it off and place it on conveyor to scan.🤣 I mean, I'm D+ and should be able to keep my belt on.🤣

  17. I went on this excursion on cruise on Harmony's December 3 sail, it was enjoyable however, lousy weather. Rained on and off all day. After lunch it began to rain again and gave up and took the boat back to the ship at around 12PM. Went to the ship's pool and an hour later it started to rain again. No luck. By the way, the same weather pattern occurred on the previous December visit to different beach area of Roatan. Here's a photo of the Harmony from the dock:
  18. I've been sailing solo since my beloved spouse passed away in '20. I've been fortunate to have dinner with couples and both single women and men. This past Harmony sail I was seated at a table for 10, but only 3 other single men showed up. Very odd as to why not a smaller table. On the 3rd evening an elderly couple were looking to seat at our table and we had an inkling that they had the wrong table. Sure enough we had table #510 and they were looking for table #610. Ps. We had excellent service and most of our meals were completed in about 1 hour. Some nights we hung around and chatted a bit. However, never interfered with the preparation for the late dining time.
  19. shareholderbenefit@rccl.com. Sent along with my broker statement and within 2 days received confirm. Also, checked the amount in the cruise planner. I was having a problem as only $100 in OBC showed. I knew that the on board booking OBC was missing and after some 15 minutes on the phone it was resolved as the agent had to clear with their resolution dept. Please be sure to include: Name of ship. Sail date and Reservation # in your e-mail.
