I look at the "Free at Sea" and you were paying 20% on top of what it would have cost you if you had purchased the package separately, i.e. the “free” version of the NCL drink package offer does not include the cost of those gratuities. You are responsible for paying the automatic 20% gratuity that’s assessed against all beverage packages even if you’re selecting it as one of your promotional perks. This entire amount is due up front before you board the cruise. It’s rolled into the total price of your cruise when you book your reservation. Same thing for the specialty dining.

We got double points during the pandemic otherwise we would still be working our way toward Diamond.

Chips were missing from our recent Wonder cruise earlier this year. I made a point of buying a (large) bag of Lays at our first port - LOL. When we were on Odyssey last December they had them but they were limited. I did see people walking away with multiple bags.

I signed up solo (my husband does NOT like sushi LOL. If you like sushi, take the class! You can always keep an eye out if the price of the class goes down - I don't remember what I paid (it was on one of the Oasis ships two years ago). I don't think it was $50, but it could have been.

Athens-Ravenna is the cruise we've chosen! From Ravenna will travel over to Rome to spent the remainder of the week. I'm really looking forward to it!

If you've booked with a TA and received OBC or other perks, you may lose the perks if you rebook at the lower fare. Need to weigh that into consideration.

Thanks - we were hoping for Rome and Venice with Croatia in the middle and it doesn't appear that's going to happen in September or October of next year - they all seem to be Venice-Venice. Looked up Explorer and it is pretty much booked for next October with Venice-Venice itineraries.

We are absolutely loving this itinerary but are interested in October 2024, not 2023. I do not see it for next year - is there a chance not all deployments have been released for next year yet?

Stop by whichever restaurant is hosting the Taste of Royal beforehand and let them know you're looking for a substitute for the tuna tartar. My friends and I did this on Harmony and they were able to get something different (I stuck with the tartar). Everything was good, its an experience I'm glad I did, but wouldn't do again - I don't believe the menu varies for this particular meal. I haven't tried the Chef's Table but that's on my list🙂

It disappeared off of my Wonder cruise next month but I had already purchased it. I think they may get to a point where they may be overselling the unlimited dining package and specialty restaurants. It would be an issue if you paid all that money for the UDP and can't make reservations at the times you want. Just a guess.

Does Tapas still exist on Oasis ships? I thought they replaced it with Giavanni's Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar?
