I would be disappointed but would try not to let it ruin the cruise -

After cruise earlier this year we came home with a couple of more men's shirts than we came with😂

We had booked a specialty restaurant on one of the formal nights and the waitress brought us lobster from the main dining room - and we didn't even ask for it! She was an awesome waitress.

I'm with you on the 80% - 80% lean for smashburgers on the Blackstone are so juicy. . .

We were on Harmony earlier this year and, although my husband and I are not dancers, we enjoyed going to Dazzles in the evening to watch others. Their band played all kinds of music so there was all kind of dancing.

LOL - that's what I'm seeing on my January Odyssey. It's $19.99 on my November Harmony cruise.

I find it irritating when all I was is a glass of water and I have to stand behind and wait on someone filling up their water jug. . .

There are so many free dining options on the Oasis class ships you don't even need to think about the "dinner packages." You have the main dining room, the Windjammer buffet, the Solarium, pizza, to choose from and even more options during the day. Yes, there are specialty dining restaurants you can pay extra for, but it's definitely not necessary. I think the kids would have a ball. We keep an eye out on different travel agencies that may offer perks including free gratuities and ship board credit, but you would have to research those as they aren't always available. If there's a ship you're interested in, go to YouTube and search for tours of that ship and you will learn a lot 🙂

You're right - it has affected everything. Dropped a prescription off for my husband this morning after he had a wisdom tooth extracted - the pharmacist was there but no one else. Told her I would be back later. Went back hours later and the poor pharmacist was still on her own with a line full of people. By the time I got up there, she had to tell me she didn't have time to fill the prescription yet. Where is all the help? Everybody is doing the best they can under the circumstances. Sorry, this is totally unrelated to the post. I hope I win the Mega Millions tonight. Oops, sorry, that's totally unrelated to the post, too.

I know of which you speak and things have changed post-Covid. Phones are an issue but I have always received an email response promptly and they have taken care of more than one change/issue for me and I haven't had to wait more than a day or two for a response. I do enjoy "free" gratuities, the extra loyalty OBC and whatever else they may be offering. I do have to weigh what they're offering against what I can get directly from Royal. It just takes lots of research to get the best deal.
