  1. Thanks, Flatbush Flyer. We can always count on you for good information.
  2. I was told that they will not force us to change anything we booked already. It will be a choice for cruises that sail after 10/01/23. I plan to stay with what I booked. Thankfully all the way through April 2025.πŸŒŠπŸ’πŸŽ‰πŸ˜„
  3. Dont worry. Not necessary to cancel. You will be able to keep what you booked. They are just trying to change and maybe get different cruisers in the future.
  4. Are you positive that "cruise only" will not be available?
  5. Maybe people are guessing about not offering the "cruise only" option. Let's hope.
  6. I was told prices will be much higher.
  7. There are 2025 Oceania cruises available for booking now. We booked our Tokyo-Tokyo 2025 months ago. Good luck everyone.
  8. Sad to tell you that Extended B3 isn't available on new Vista. O got wise and made them all Concierge or PH.
  9. You know a cabin attendant would have helped get you bag under the bed. It's sad you had to waste closet space.
  10. The showers in the spa are always available to all guests. I have used them extensively in the past.
  11. I agree with you. We also book our own flights, arrive or depart weeks before/after the cruise and bring wine onboard. We sometimes use Oceania excursions and other times book private tours, It depends on the port. We were told that new plan is definitely more expensive than what we have. I'm happy we have 4 Oceania cruises already booked thru April 2025.
  12. I heard that the new plan will be more expensive than what we booked. The drinks will be at lunch or dinner only. We don't eat lunch and enjoy poolside drinks so this package doesn't sound good for us. Everyone is different.
  13. Hi, You won't have trouble canceling your excursions. You're going to have to call Oceania directly to do it. It's easy to switch from tom Shore Ex to OBC. If you used a TA, then tell her/him. Wait a few weeks to make any decisions because things are changing. We use Oceania excursions in certain places and book private tours in Europe and The Caribbean. Good luck
  14. Thanks for the What's in Port link. We loved everything we saw on our Great Ocean Road trip. It's definitely worthwhile.
  15. We had an extended balcony on Riviera. It's lovely. We asked our Steward for lounge chairs and they brought them. I am sorry but don't recall if there were 1 or 2. We really enjoyed spending time there Enjoy πŸ’πŸŽΆπŸŽ‰πŸŒŠ
  16. Hi, I'm not on Vista now but was on Oceania in January. There's no charge for the Aquamar Terrace but access is limited to 1.Concierge and above cabin passengers 2.Anyone having a spa treatment Yes, the spa prices are very high on all cruise ships. I recall the massage prices being that bad. They usually offer specials on port days. Also, if you attend the Spa tour on the day you embark, they sometimes offer a package. Hope this info helps. Enjoy πŸŒŠπŸŽ‰
  17. Hi, That flight cost would have been nuts. So glad you made it. Thanks for this Vista info. Looks fantastic. Can't wait for our Vists Panama Canal in November.
  18. I've seen posts from the special Vista Christening Cruise and there was a fabulous Sunday Brunch. Does anyone know if this will be offered every Sunday? Thanks πŸŽ‰πŸ₯‚πŸ’
  19. Cheaper prices but you aren't getting the same kind of experience that you would on Oceania. There is something special about the ambience on Oceania. Some people don't care but we do. High Tea in Horizons, comfortable pool deck, quality food, String Quartet and Baristas, to name a few differences. I am not judging your choices but an pointing out that for me Oceania is a better way to cruise.
  20. What does MSC Yacht Club have to do with Oceania? Oceania treats every passenger equally. No special treatment for those who pay more. The Vibes on Oceania are quite different from those large ships with lots of noise.
  21. We tried and disliked our cruise on Celebrity Edge. Food was poorly prepared even though the menu looked interesting. The quality of the fish, shrimp and meats wasn't what we have come to expect in a decent restaurant. Our Aquaclass stateroom entitled us to Unlimited access to the " Thermal Spa". It was extremely disappointing. There was no fancy hotub, no Jacuzzi and nothing special. It was a boring experience. We did however love the jets and showers in our Aquaclass stateroom. We know everyone likes different things. Just saying 🌊🎢
  22. I definitely understand your reasoning. Oceania is wonderful. Enjoy 🎢πŸ₯‚
  23. Wow. We are.older and my husband and I couldn't possibly drink $1200 worth of alcohol in a month. I understand everyone is different but that sounds like an outrageous price. We bring bottles of wine onboard to drink on our Veranda. Sometimes we enjoy Happy Hour. Sometimes we bring a fine bottle of wine to the Restaurant. Hope you enjoy Oceania πŸŽ‰πŸŒŠπŸŽΆπŸ₯‚
  24. Thanks. Will think about that for future trips. Our next 2 both have a week before and 3 weeks after. 😎🌊
  25. You're right. It's totally confusing. We book OLife and take a credit for the air. We like to book far in advance, spend time before and after the cruise and buy Comfort Plus air. Deviation fees with Oceania add up and make no sense to us.
