  1. The Super Bowl has been shown for many years on NCL ships minus the commercials.
  2. Hi Sweetie, Glad you met Myo Ko. He is a sweet kid. The Mega is directly across the street in Cozumel. It is bright blue with HUGE Lettering. No way you can miss it. Very chilly here again. The temperatures for Sunrise Easter Service will be about 34 F at 6:30 A.M. BIG BIG BIG BIG HUG Love and prayers always
  3. He left several years ago and works for another company.
  4. When you are doing B2B cruises, you will receive a letter from Guest Services giving exact instructions for your 2nd cruise. The letter will tell you how to get new cards and any other instructions you will need including how to get your new key cards. Since you are staying in the same cabin, you do not need to pack. Enjoy your cruises
  5. Besides the Cruise Director and CruiseNext Manager any major changes in the Senior Management staff? Is Micki back as F&B?
  6. Too soon to know exactly what would be available on your cruise. By then some of the new shows being worked on in Tampa may be ready to go on board the ships. Have not seen anything yet with dates or exactly what is being planned. Last time I heard anything, it sounded like they were going back to in-house production shows like when Jean Ann Ryan productions were on board.
  7. They mentioned POA (Pride of America) which would be a Hawaiian island cruise. If the Pride has Haven cabins, I do not think there is a restaurant. She might have a very small bar probably open very limited hours.
  8. Hi, I hope your 2nd week goes well for you. If you see Charlin again, tell her, I am doing well and ask her when her sign-off date is. Would love to sail with her again. If you ever eat in the Manhattan Dining Room for dinner of O'Sheehan's for breakfast one of my cruise kids may be there. Myo Ko from Myanmar (Burma). Have you heard the news coming from the Hal Nieuw Amsterdam? Two crew members were killed in an accident in the "engineering space". There are at least 2 former NCL Senior staff members currently on board the Nieuw Amsterdam. BIG BIG BIG BIG HUG Love and prayers always
  9. Simple answer is NO. I would book a balcony. No matter what cabin selection any of you make, have a wonderful time. Suggestion for you: try to find a local travel agency to advise you.
  10. The Captain may not have had a choice. The Port of Miami has a traffic control system (similar to Air Traffic Control at airports), you sail when they tell you to sail. Given the weather along the whole East Coast, there might have been a window in which they could sail out safely. As I understand it, the weather from New York City into the Caribbean Sea is not expected to improve for the next few days.

  12. YEAH!!! I am glad for you. Can not wait to wait about the rest of your adventures. BIG BIG BIG BIG HUG Love and prayers always
  13. Have you found Myo Ko either in the Manhattan for dinner or the Local for breakfast? How did the Officers Dinner go? BIG BIG BIG BIG HUG I pray that the rest of this week and next week go well. Record heat the last few days in the Pacific Northwest. Mid to high 50's by the weekend and rain again.
  14. Very happy that things are going well. Have you met Charlin yet? I have not sailed with her in a long time. BIG BIG BIG BIG HUG Love and prayers always
  15. PCC's are only good for booking a cruise. I use a travel agent from an agency in my hometown. He handles the cruise, flights, hotels, transfer from airport and to the port and travel insurance. He is part of a larger travel consortium and get a good deal and once awhile a perk or two. He has also handled any issues that might come up like disruption in airline flight schedules and given me current information BEFORE I knew there was a problem. In 37 cruises, I would never leave home without his help and advise.
  16. I am with you: what is between Italy and Southampton? I am hoping for a paying passenger cruise. Boston to Miami: (1) Press Cruise, (2) VIP, Invited Guest Cruise (3) Crew Only Cruise (Getaway went CREW ONLY from New York City to Miami after the Super Bowl in 2014).
  17. WOW!!! I am glad to hear that you are having a good time. I hope that the rest of the week goes well. BIG BIG BIG BIG HUG Love and prayers always
  18. Your delays are probably weather related in the Dallas area-- heavy storm warning, flash floods, etc.--NOTHING GOOD. Best Wishes
  19. I think my friend Charlin is on board as either Group Services or Guest Services. I also have a "Cruise Ship Kid" on board as a waiter. I think he is in the Manhattan Room for dinner and the Local for breakfast. Very tall from Myanmar (Burma).
  20. Minus the weather, I hope you have a wonderful adventure. Can not wait to hear what you have to say about The Breakaway and Her staff. BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG HUG
  21. NCL does NOT allow for door decorations. Some General Managers enforce it and others do not. I would ask the GM for permission to decorate my door before I did it.
  22. Thank you for sharing your cruise. Have not been on The Sun in a long. You brought back lots of warm memories. The Sun is one of my favorite ships.
