We had purchased CO & unlimited laundry for our Vista Suite...when we accepted the upgrade to a Neptune we requested those amounts to be refunded & they were. Since we had already paid for a suite, our double cruise day credits remained.

Not sharing how much it was to upsell but we got an offer to go from a Vista Suite on the K to a Neptune....35 day Hawaii/South Pacific/Tahiti about 3 weeks prior to the cruise. We're old, this might be our last cruise so we went for it. The only other time we've been offered an upsell by the time I called they were gone. This time I called maybe an hour or so after receiving the offer & there were still several cabins available....

It was last week so about 3 weeks out & it came from HAL.

We did the same tour only our bus broke down on the land portion --- had to wait for a replacement bus & that led to having to miss the sea portion --- no refund/no make-up excursion....next time we booked the same excursion, the port was cancelled for 2 medical evacs....had to go to PV to disembark those passengers.

That's what I'm thinking --- we just took an upsell for our upcoming 35 day cruise....to a Neptune & this might be our last cruise.

Got the dress & kimono top.....not crazy about the top but it'll work.

@Lady Hudson When I was still working, I had a nurse friend that, instead of ironing a scrub top for work, would just 'whip one up' in the morning.....

In Washington State, if you're over 75, you can apply for an exemption, which I did.

I just got the EXCUSED nod for my summons....Too old.

Not sure where you are but in Kitsap County, Knights of Columbus has a donation site ---- they loan or give tons of DME to those in need. Check out KCHelps. You might have a similar organization by you.

A hundred years ago I had my colors done (when that was a thing)....liked the look of the dress you posted & that color was one that was recommended....ordered it & a kimono wrap....hope I like them on....+ got 20% off so that was good.
