  1. I see when booking a Neptune Suite that we receive complimentary laundry services. How long does it take for a bag of laundry to be returned to the cabin? Thank you!!!!
  2. We are thinking about booking this cabin but have not been able to locate any reviews. We were concerned with the pool deck right above with noise in the morning with setting up of the pool deck. Any thoughts on the cabin vs. a mid-ship Neptune suite with regards to cabin size and balcony size? TIA
  3. Has anyone been on a B2B cruise and had to change cabins after the first cruise? What is the process for moving your clothing and personal items? Do you have to remain on the cruise ship until your luggage and belongings are moved to the second cabin? If the second cruise cabin is next door to the first cruise cabin, can we ask the cabin steward or butler to move our hanging clothes and other items we have packed in our luggage to the second cabin so that we can disembark for a private shore excursion? The first cruise cabin is 11027 and the second cruise cabin is 11025. TIA for any help
  4. A couple cruising with us March 2024 Seoul - Tokyo have decided to book their flights through Oceania. We are trying to determine what flights Oceania will book for them and have been told they will receive their flights 45 days in advance. I thought it was 90 days in advance? Which timeframe is correct? TIA
  5. If I obtain a NCL Mastercard and utilize this card building up WorldPoints, can I utilize these WorldPoints on Oceania cruises for things like OBC or cruise discounts?

Has anyone utilized their services for private tours in South Korea and Japan?
  7. We have taken eight classes and have enjoyed the last six. The first two were with Chef Kelly and it was hmmmm brutal. The last six classes have been awesome, although taking a class while sailing across the North Sea is not the best if you get seasick. We had five in our class have to leave the class due to illness. The one concern is the amount of time the food is actually cooking. We have found a few of the dishes to be undercooked due to a lack of time. We will continue to sign up for the classes in the future. You should go and enjoy the class.
  8. Yes, we have in the past booked our own air and then booked the Oceania hotels. The hotels come with transfers from the airport upon arrival and then to the port on the day of the cruise. We can book the hotel and transfers on our own, but the previous seven cruises have proven to work great for us, so I guess we will ride the wave as long as it continues to work. 😀
  9. Thanks for the suggestion. The other couple will fly economy, we are trying to get them on the same flights we are taking so we can do Oceania transfers together to the Oceania hotel. I will have them contact Oceania to see if flights have been chosen yet and then also submit to Oceania the requested flight deviations to see if those are acceptable to Oceania. Appreciate the suggestions from everyone.....thank you
  10. We have already booked bizclass on our own (2 couples), but the third couple do not have the finances to do this and are using the Oceania flights.
  11. If flights are booked through Oceania for the following cruise and departure out of New Orleans (MSY): MSY - ICN Tokyo - MSY for a cruise Seoul to Tokyo March 9 - March 20: When can I expect Oceania to provide me with my flights? How would I request a deviation to flights that other family members are on that they booked themselves? How much does deviation requests normally cost? Thanks for any answers or suggestions
  12. I received this question from a tour operator. Anyone have an idea which port Oceania docks into for Jeju? We wanted to know the port of entry to Jeju on March 10th of First Cruise. Please confirm whether it is Jeju Port or Seogwipo (or Gangjeong Port). Jeju Port is in the north of Jeju Island, and Seogwipo is in the south of Jeju Island.
  13. Thank you for the responses and suggestions/ideas on how to handle the closet size. I "think" we will remain with the Category B Veranda Suite for these two cruises now that we received these ideas.
  14. We are booked into a category B3 for b2b in Asia (23 days total). Last night while viewing videos of the cabin we noticed the small size of the closet. If you have done a cruise more than 14 days in a B3 was the closet size an issue for you?
  15. Has anyone booked private shore excursion tours for South Korea and Japan through one company? I was seeking a company similar to what is used in the Baltic or European cruises. Thus far I have sent email to two companies (Japan Shore Excursions and Japan Expo Tours) but have yet to receive any information back from either company. We are on b2b Oceania cruises in March 2024. TIA
  16. We have used Luggage Forward and have never had any issues. Last year I saw a company called Send My Bag and used this company to ship luggage to Oslo, Norway before our Baltic Cruise. The luggage sat in Norway customs for seven days and I could not get any help from Send My Bag to have the luggage released. Finally, with the Oceania cruise departing in five hours I took a taxi to the DHL offices as I could see on the airtag that is where the luggage was sitting. Within five minutes of arrival, the luggage was released to me. Send My Bag had told me for the five days we were in Oslo and trying to get the luggage DO NOT GO TO THE DHL offices!!! If I had not done this, we would have not had luggage for the Baltic Cruise. Long story but short answer is DO NOT USE Send My Bag even though the prices are half of other companies.
  17. Are you warned not to pet the armed guards like you are warned not to pet the drug seeking dogs in the airports? 😁
  18. Oceania cruises offer you the choice of excursion, onboard credit or bevergae package. If you choose excursions (7 day cruise provides 4 excursions per cabin), are you allowed to choose any of the excursions offered in a port? Can you choose a half day or full day excursion? If the following are the excursion categories, which are you allowed to choose as part of your OLife selection: Beyond Blueprints Culinary Discovery Tour Food & Wine Tour Go Green Go Local Minimal Activity Required Oceania Exclusive Excursion Oceania Select Excursion TIA..........Lane412000
  19. ORV, in the bathroom is there a shower/tub combination and a separate shower? Thanks
  20. Booked March 20, 2024 12 day Land of the Rising Sun aboard the Riviera. Asked the TA to book us on the pre-cruise land tour and was informed we were placed on a waitlist. Is it possible that the land tour is fully booked one year ahead of the cruise with the majority of the cabins still available? Or, is it possible that it is too early for Oceania to have opened the pre-cruise land tour for booking? When I look at the booking for land tour I receive the message LAND PROGRAMS CANNOT BE PAID USING SHIPBOARD CREDIT. This is the same message I always receive on my past cruises. Thoughts?
  21. Might be early for Oceania to post the classes as I have found to be the case in my recent Oceania cruises. If Ann Burrell wannabe is teaching the class, save yourself some money and skip it
  22. In 2008 on our first Oceania cruise we had a butler from the Soviet Union. He spoiled us and we have never had another butler come close to the magnificent service we received from this gentleman. In our more recent Oceania cruises, requests like in-suite dining has made it look like the butler was going to visit the dentist. Actually, I cannot recall the last time we had a butler even suggest to us to have in-suite dining. Course by course delivery is long gone. In August aboard the Marina, we got dressed and went to La Reserve for our reservation only to find it blacked out. Could it be we had the wrong date? No, had the reservation card in hand. Stopped at the reception desk and was told the dinner was cancelled and the butler should have informed us. When I asked the butler, he said no, reservations was supposed to inform me but his face told me differently. Now, it is always nice to have breakfast waiting for us in the suite dining room, so cannot complain too much.
  23. We have taken culinary class on the last five Oceania cruises and have booked again for January. The experience has been great. In September each person had their own station. Chef Noelle in the video is outstanding and a super instructor. On our second class in September, we had a male instructor, I want to say his name was David. Again, just a super instructor and individual. We have taken classes with Kelly and did not enjoy those classes. So much so that if I schedule or book a class and she is the instructor, it would be best for me just to walk out and lose the $89
  24. My opinion of the Vista Suite after sailing in it in September aboard the Marina. Easy opinion -- NEVER again. Hard to complain when sailing in this suite, right? You are asking about the balcony. My response is the balcony can be as big as you want it, but what good is that if you can hardly ever use it? Granted we were sailing Baltic in September, but the way Oceania's itineraries are so port intensive you can assume you will not use the balcony during the day when you are in port. Then, when you return to the ship you can use the balcony, just not the furniture as everything is tied up. It was disappointing to have paid a nice amount of money for the cabin and balcony but not getting to use the balcony. On sea days, the furniture is tied up while sailing so again, cannot use the furniture. Stick to the Oceania Suites, the cabin space actually seemed to be more in the Oceania Suite although it really isn't. The closet in the Oceania Suite is larger. The exercise room in the Vista Suite is a waste of space. The ONLY two positives of the Vista Suite over the Oceania Suite in my opinion: 1. Use can look out the window from the bathroom 2. You can watch a TV in the living/dining area of the Vista Suite, while you must go to the "TV" room in the Oceania Suite
  25. There are cruise fares on the Oceania website for the June 2, 2023 Hong Kong to Tokyo cruise. What would you expect to pay for a B2 cabin based upon this posting on the website: A1 - Concierge Level Veranda $27,098 $11,549 $9,949 A2 - Concierge Level Veranda $26,598 $11,249 $9,649 A3 - Concierge Level Veranda $26,098 $11,099 $9,499 B1 - Veranda Stateroom $25,498 $9,099 $7,499 B2 - Veranda Stateroom $25,19 $8,949 $7,349 Middle column is Olife Fare with Airfare Third column is cruise only fare My assumption was that if I wanted the OLife fare without airfare a B2 stateroom would cost me $7,749 per person. I am getting cruise fares from agents at $9,499 because I want to take advantage of the Oceania promotion of a 1-4 cabin upgrade from B2 to A3. By paying $9,499 am I not just paying the straightforward fare for A3 cabin and not receiving any Oceania promotional benefit? I am just really confused and frustrated by these fares.
