  1. Not dumb but your info is incorrect. You don't need your ta to book shore excursions, dinner reservations, etc. You need them if you want to make any changes to the reservation, such as change cabin or get a price reduction.
  2. Update: 1. I got a form return email from executive offices this afternoon. There was a name on it. They are reviewing the problem. It's Friday and since they're closed on Saturday and Sunday I don't expect to hear back until Monday. 2. Amazingly today my obc appears on my reservation on the computer! And it showed as $200, not $150 as it shows on the confirmation. More to come.
  3. Just got a $400+ drop in price on our January Voyager cruise. The 2nd one we've gotten. Considering the airfare it is much appreciated.

  5. Actually solarium does have some food but not as much as other Radiance class ships have. We sailed her on the TA in April. As to what's open, check the app. Click on Dining along the bottom of the page. You'll see what's open and when. We're on Liberty in August and it shows Sorrento's Pizza open on Day 1 from 11:30-3.
  6. Ask any of the staff, especially the officers (the ones in white shirts), for help. They will be more than happy to be of assistance. Maybe you can arrange for help before you board by contacting special needs at Royal. I'm not sure of the email address but someone else probably does.
  7. Just to let everyone know, I sent the email. Basically asked to confirm that obc should have been usable. I asked for an explanation. I was polite. Will see what happens.

  9. That's always been my experience. Didn't understand why it wouldn't work and c&a were of no use.
  10. Always bring paper back up documents. In my experience, which is why I'm surprised, always available before boarding. They actually would post on your web page and encourage you to use.

  12. We are the Liberty August 28. Have obc from an booking onboard. Tried to use them to pay for an excursion. Unfortunately they weren't on the website. I called c&a. They looked into it and said that since the reservation was with my travel partner, i.e. travel agent, we couldn't use them only she could. Huh!? I know I've done this before. I asked to speak with a supervisor. After waiting they said they would call me back. No phone call. We paid for excursion because the sale was about to end. (Price did go up an hour later.) Am I wrong about being able to use obc this way without going through ta? Plan to escalate this to executive office, unless you all tell me I'm wrong.

  14. Don't know what to tell you. Checked my email to confirm I typed it correctly. I did. Never had it blocked.
  15. You are correct. What is the excursion? Is this a beach excursion? If so, all you need is a taxi in each direction. You control the timing, just remember to leave extra time for traffic. Also remember to stay on ship time.

  17. Yes, but it's recommended to have an extra test in case of a problem. We've used emed 3x and will be ordering again for our August cruise.
  18. We've used the emed tests 3x including from our hotel in Amsterdam. So easy. Watch the videos on utube. They will make you feel prepared. We still have 2 left but about to order 2 more for our August cruise, extras important to have in case of any problems. Btw its 2 days, not 48 hours, in advance, which makes planning a little more flexible. Enjoy your trip.
  19. 1.5 to 2 hrs if I remember correctly. We'll be using a car service. While pricey £160 forc 2 with luggage don't want to schlep luggage on train. Train cost is low but still need taxis at both ends. When are you going? Maybe you can check on the roll call for your cruise and find someone to share a car service.
  20. Did it from our hotel in Amsterdam to fly home in May. No problems.
