Yet another severe storm rolled through and now we have been without power for over an hour. hopefully power is restored soon. Good news is that we have plenty of candles and a couple batteries charged for phones and pouring bourbon requires no power 🙂

Yep - $2/bag sale however they are the 1.5 cu. ft. bags. The spring sale in April was $2/bag but was 2 cu. ft per bag. Little mad I didn’t get the better deal but I didn’t have time in April. Enjoy the outdoor time! 🍻

We just had a hailstorm. Pretty crazy. Hail was big & my truck doesn’t fit in the garage sooooo gonna be interesting when i go look at the hood. Thank goodness we finished the mulch when we did! That hail woulda hurt like h*** 😂

We finished about 45 minutes ago right as the rain started. perfect timing.

Same, I used to be a diehard survivor fan never missing an episode until a few years ago. I believe i posted about it before here but when every tribal began to be a life lesson on race, equality yada yada i lost interest. entertainment value gone. I hear enough about how terrible the world is on the news which i also quit watching. shame because i loved that show. I will rewatch very old seasons on netflix though 😀

Thank all of you for the condolences. 🙏🏻 Emma seems to be getting along ok. She had some time to see Oliver before he left us and was there when he actually passed. As sad as it is I believe it helps that she knows what happened to him and was able to say goodbye. I was worried she would be overly anxious when left home alone but she has been good. There is definitely a massive void in our lives.

I’m sure you know this but make sure you check way way waaayyy down the hall for your bag. Mine is always a ridiculous hike away from the cabin for some reason.
