Wow, why is it taking a day at Sea after leaving Fort Lauderdale, they could make it to PD@Cococay overnight and put another destination (Key West in there). I am puzzled by this itinerary.
-
In January, The Bahamas Government is increasing port charges.
-
The Equinox is going there (time for Drydock and upgrade) so the Beyond is doing here tour in the Caribbean next year.
-
OK, TA's would know. But I am sure there are those that have expressed that they wanted a beach day, so they added them.
-
I was looking on Celebrity's website and it pulled up the dates, mostly the 3/4 nights. With the Bahamas charging more next January, they may limit where they go due to port charges.
-
The cruises are for those that sail 3/4 night sailings from May to November - beats going to Nassau. There's one 6 and one 7 night sailing so far on the list on the Beyond.
-
I am not sure if someone you all know, but when Celebrity Beyond was being built, at some point Captain Kate left the Edge and went to be with the ship Beyond well before the ship was floated out. The same happens on Royal's new built, this is the reason (other than his treatment) as to why people don't see certain captions, since Captain Johnny is going to be one of the Captains on the Icon.

I looked up your room number on YouTube and this is next door to yours. It should be the same set up. -
Sargassum Seaweed at Coco Cay?
Plum Happy replied to BigB67's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Remove it from the island and put it on a boat and send it elsewhere. https://www.iadb.org/en/improvinglives/turning-trash-treasure-tackling-sargassum-jamaica When the sargassum is rotting and unfit for making fodder, Awganic can use the seaweed to produce charcoal or âecoal.â According to Morrison, this alternative biofuel could save many Caribbean forests from being cut down to make charcoal. Sargassum burns cleaner and does not emit much dust or smoke. It also burns longer, making it perfect for cooking jerk, a traditional Jamaican style of seasoning and preparing meat. -
Sargassum Seaweed at Coco Cay?

I would believe they would clean the beach up as they would normally do every day. -
The BOGO 60% on Celebrity last July was geared towards Solo travelers, not the second guest, which is the current promotion.
-
For a solo traveler not having to pay the full price and only pay less than half the cruise fare, it's a bargain. Think, if two solo family members or friends travel together and with the 60% off for Solo, they can get their own room and still the outcome is that it's the same as if they booked a room together, would you not get your own room?
-
The fare was more than half off.
-
But you found something. Not every cook is going to cook to your specifications. They are cooking for thousands. Did you starve eating food on the ship? đ
-
Wow, I had no idea that they were charging supplements on solo cabins. In July, Celebrity had a sale for Solo travelers, BOGO60 SGL NRD, that was a steal for Solo travelers. Right now they have 75% off 2nd guest plus $800 off the room, plus a total $850 onboard. Great prices for couples not traveling with kids. Watch out for when RCCL does their BOGO60%, you will need to be quick to obtain the cabin you want.

I saw the teaser on Instagram.

The Apex sails out on Saturdays, i.e., yours would either this January 28th, and in February, the 4th or the 11th, 18th. Celebrity states to refer to the dining reservation card in your stateroom.

They are metal and you should have no problem using them. -
Oceanview Cafe dinner service being eliminated?
Plum Happy replied to LMaxwell's topic in Celebrity Cruises
The buffet has always looked pared down like that at night on their ships. If there are a lot of kids on the ship, they (in the past) had a station set up for them with chicken fingers, mac n cheese, etc., with foods kids liked and adults helped themselves to what they put on that station as well. -
What's going on with Royal Caribbean?

You came here âto The Everybody is a Critic message boardâ where some consistently do nothing but complain aboutâŚ.you name it, itâs all about those that sway your thinking. A - the Food - no one person has the same tastebuds while eating the same dish, be it at the same dinner time on the same ship eating the same meal at the same table. B - Where some people read everyoneâs complaints then get antsy about âTheir Cruiseâ because you keep giving attention to their opinion. C - YOU because you fail by taking in all their opinions AND by not letting YOURSELF enjoy your vacation while worrying about whatâs going to come because in the back of your mind you read a negative opinion here on the food, drinks and service. Stop worrying about their opinions and go out and ENJOY YOURSELF! Itâs your vacation, leave the negative Nancy and Ned opinions out of your VACATION time.
