The birds are very busy feeding their babies and the babies are very loud demanding food. It’s the kind of noise I enjoy. This weeks chore is to decide on a new internet security provider. I currently use Kaspersky and want to switch. I hope everyone has a good day today.

Good Afternoon, the morning was filled with errands and some laundry. I had an interesting experience booking internet for our upcoming Zaandam cruise. I booked it for myself, entered the cc information and submitted the request. I got a message that the server couldn’t be reached to try again later. My phone got the credit card alerts that the purchase went through. I checked email and I got the confirmation email from HAL that the transaction went through. Just odd.

I certainly remember everyone that was there for me when I hit lows in my life. Yesterday’s trip to the garden center seemed more expensive than past years and DH wants a few more plants for the deck. We did eat out locally for the first time this year. It was a disappointing encounter. When DH complains I know for sure it just isn’t me. We will use the rest of the gift card for takeout. @rafinmd thanks for the heads up. I got to watch this morning’s sail away. This certainly applies to Amelia.

I think we will use a gift card at a local restaurant for dinner today. Today is warm and we may see 90 this afternoon. The kids enjoy watching birds. We will be running errands this morning, making several stops to make the best use of gas. Getting our tomato and pepper plants will be top of the list.

Good Morning Jacqui, we cancelled the June 25, 2023 Nieuw Amsterdam cruise. We replaced it with the July 22, 2023 Zaandam 7 Day Historic Coasts. It’s a bit more budget friendly and doesn’t require flights. We are also booked on the November 6, 2022 Nieuw Amsterdam 14 Day Western/Eastern Caribbean. Could you please update the list with these changes? Thank you.

I’ll wait for @dfish recipes for today’s meal suggestion. My miniature panther decided that 3:30 was the purrfect time for pets. She purred into my ear until I gave in.

Good Morning, thanks for the daily report. Today promises to be a beautiful day here. Upstairs windows are open to allow fresh air. @kazu our dipsticks are in DC. We still had a frost warning earlier this week. Our temperatures are expected to get back to normal. We will get some plants over the weekend and fill the planters on the deck. @dfish the meal suggestion sounds interesting and I'd give it a try, especially with chicken. I do hope you and the surgeon come up with a good plan. @cat shepard your meme is very close to recent events. @rafinmd it's a good idea to make those final plans. I did mine about 35 years ago after dealing with the passing of a significant other. This is from the front yard. The birds planted it from the big wisteria bush. When the big one is in full bloom it's a wonderful sight and provides a wonderful scent.

Zaandam looks really good coming into port.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily report. I'll pass on today's meal suggestion. We are having leftover chicken and rice. Spring seems to really be taking hold. Moms and dads are busy feeding their babies. The older the gourd the better they seem to like it.

I needed to make a spot for the latest Eurodam tile. While at it I made room for souvenirs from our upcoming Zaandam cruise.

As things stand today I believe that we need to use ArriveCan app. On the HAL site they state that they will provide testing for turn around day for those staying on board. I’m getting tests just in case they change the policy.

Based on recent updates I want a set for turn around in Montreal just in case. If we don’t need then we can use them for November. Today is nice and sunny although a bit cool. Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily report. I’d be willing to give today’s meal suggestion a try, I’d probably like it. Yesterday’s weather was cold and windy, today it’s sunny but still a cool. By the weekend they are promising near 80. Think I’ll pull the fans out of the attic today to get ready. The most important chore this weekend is complete, I checked us in for our upcoming Zaandam cruises. I enjoy the Boston to Montreal and back itinerary, with no air travel it’s a relaxing vacation. We have free HBO this weekend and I couldn’t find anything worthwhile to watch. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there.

I’m booked as a Boston to Montreal and back to Boston. Have done this several times. HAL even used to do it as a 14 day cruise.

We are doing the B2B in June as well. I think we don’t need a test to enter the states by ship. But to we need to test in Montreal to return home?

Good Afternoon All, thanks for the daily report. I’ll pass on today’s meal suggestion but the drink sounds interesting and I’d give it a try. Tonight will be lasagna with wine. Busy week with work and today I had the joy of muddling through two contracts for new hospital locations. I emailed my new PCC yesterday and we talked this morning. We cancelled next year’s Alaska cruise in favor of The Historic Coast cruise Boston round trip. A friend has already booked the cabin next to us and hopefully more will be joining us.

The Have it All upgrade is on the first leg of my Zaandam cruise, not the second. I’m not seeing the value for us to add this. Wifi and drinks are the parts that would interest me. If it included crew appreciation then I’d change my mind.

Debbie @dfish now has me rethinking our 2023 cruise itineraries. The Historic Coast itinerary is a good one that I’d like to do again, need to discuss with DH tonight.
