It’s possible, if everything goes along perfectly. But I wouldn’t chance it if it were me. If they miss their flight, it may be difficult to get on a later one as those flights after a cruise are usually booked up.
I tried to switch cabins a couple weeks ago for my cruise in September. Same category, identical cabins in a better location and was told I’d have to pay the current price which would have been $1500 extra.
I agree with the above response, you’re going to be rushed. Make other plans.
Once I booked a pedicure on embarkation day. Trying to do that and eat lunch was stressful. Just not enough time unless perhaps you have the massages at a later time that day. Plus you don’t really know what time you will actually get on the ship. Your check in time and the time you actually get on the ship could vary.
I am an older person but this is what I’m going to say… Just soap up the kid and hold them under the shower to rinse them off. I’ve done this many times… Many many years ago… with my babies. I’ve also washed kids in a small sink. Just make do with what you’ve got, it’s the old fashion way.
We park right at Port Canaveral as a matter of convenience even though it costs more. We like getting off the ship at the end of the cruise and being able to go right to our car and get on our way home.
When we flew into Orlando we stayed at the Hyatt which is right there at the Orlando airport. The next morning we used Cortrans shuttle to get us to the ship and then back to the airport after the cruise. It all worked out very well.
I would not go back to blue lagoon. The ferry ride was almost an hour and we were packed into the ferry like sardines in the heat and the beach was overcrowded with not enough lounge chairs for everyone and the lunch was terrible.
Could somebody who’s been to the CocoCay Beach club give me information about it. We’re interested in knowing if there’s enough chairs at the beach and pool for everybody and is it worth the money compared to just getting a lounge chair on your own?
Perhaps it just depends on what port you are in. Last year when we docked in Cozumel I asked if they could take me to the place where I would meet the tour bus because it was a long walk. They were more than happy and in fact had five or six wheelchairs lined up there at the dock in case people needed them. When the tour bus returned there was a guy there with a wheelchair waiting to take me back to the ship. He seem to remember me.
On my last cruise the assistant waiter kept glasses of wine coming with no cash incentive given ahead of time. I only tip on the last night and I’ve always had wonderful service.
