  1. I would find it hard to believe that there wouldn’t be taxis lined up if a ship load of passengers had just come into port.
  2. When we did the Martha Brae rafting tour the guy pulled over to the side to do a drug deal. I’m sure that’s what happened.
  3. Just curious…for medical evacuation in Labadee where do they take the person?
  4. We left Port Canaveral on a shuttle at 8:30 am and were at the Orlando airport by 9:30 and had plenty of time for our 12:00 flight. Book the flight yourself.
  5. It’s my granddaughter and she’s 14 years old now. She’s been on three cruises. Many people with autism suffer from sensory overload and noise and crowds become overwhelming. If she has a window to look out of it’s much easier for all of us. Will be taking her on her fourth cruise in September. Before Covid when everyone had to gather for the muster drill they would let her do the drill in her cabin and have been very accommodating to her needs.
  6. We have used assistance for an autistic child but you did not say what kind of assistance you will need. I sent an email to the dining room manager about 3 weeks before the cruise asking for a table by ourselves next to a window and we got just what we wanted. They are also very helpful if you have special dietary needs.
  7. We had connecting balcony cabins on the mariner and both cabins had a large sofa.
  8. Same thing happened to us last year. We had to skip Labadee because the ship had to go back to Miami to let a passenger off due to a medical emergency, there’s nothing you can do, just hope if the medical emergency was you the rest of the passengers would understand. There are beaches in Freeport.
  9. American breakfast is $7.95, continental breakfast is no charge.
  10. You have to ask for an ice bucket. They used to put them in all the cabins but I think with Covid now they are only by request.
  11. I used Squaremouth.com They have several policies to pick from and I think prices are about the same as Insuremytrip.
  12. We used Cortrans, on time, clean shuttle.
  13. You don’t have to bring your own tray. If you just ask someone in the Windjammer they will get you one to use with your wheelchair
  14. If you were near Bayside then you were in Miami. The poster was asking about the Holiday Inn at Port Canaveral,
  15. I have not stayed at that Holiday Inn but I have looked at it in the past and found the reviews to be unfavorable as you say. A few months ago we stayed at the Hyatt in Titusville. You might look at that hotel, the rates are reasonable, it’s a short drive to the port and they have free parking, free breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The hotel was very nice.
  16. Try looking at one of the shuttles that goes back to MCO. We used Cortrans, reliable and cheaper than uber
  17. Do you wish to be seated just the five of you or do you want a larger table? You can email at rcldining@rccl.com and state your preferences about 3 weeks before your cruise.
  18. Have you looked at Cortrans shuttle, this is who we used.
  19. I was in Nassau twice in the past 2years. It seemed like a very long walk from the ship to get anywhere and there was really no visible help around so I just stayed on the ship.
  20. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency at the Orlando airport. If you go upstairs from baggage claim the hotel lobby is right there. The next day we used Cortrans shuttle to pick us up right there at the hotel to go to the ship. Also used them for the ride back to the airport after the cruise. All went very smoothly.
