  1. Is exactly right. Old hands can't start afresh 😁
  2. There are many of us who would never have a suite at the bow of a ship on any line. You have outlined all of the problems and issues. If only you had suite 642 you would be happy and wealthier.
  3. Very wise, that's what I am doing. I like clarity when spending my money and I'm afraid at the moment all is not clear.
  4. Clear as mud at the moment then.
  5. New owner, new ideas and probably a lot of new guests that did not cruise with old Crystal. At the moment we don't know what we don't know.
  6. Always use a proper travel agent that is experienced in the luxury sector of the cruise industry. Never book or deal with the company directly. Land based operations are never as good as the operations on the ship.
  7. You need a proper travel agent. Never book directly with the company.
  8. Spending money on a larger suite on Seabourn or even Silversea for that matter does not get you any special treatment as it does on a mass market ship that sails with thousands more passengers. You will receive the same service as those poor people that have had to suffer living in a standard veranda suite. Have you been to see the Hotel Director and raised your concerns? It does seem strange to sail for twenty five days and then come on a cruise forum to complain. I have heard from others who are on the same cruise as you and they seem to have had a very different experience to you. Hoping your last two or three days are monumental. Happy sailing
  9. Very wise. There are plenty of other options on other lines if the money is burning a hole in your pocket.
  10. We are all blind until the works are completed and they are accessible to view. Probably five months from now
  11. I am hoping that New Crystal come up with things that work for everyone. You can't beat designing a ship from scratch rather than converting older areas on older ships.
  12. Thanks for the reassuring information Mr President.
  13. Sorry to read that you have bought another doer upper. I'd be devastated.😁
  14. Not been there. Get off and report back 😁
  15. I'll be happy to try the Serenity again as long as it works for me. I do have reservations about the amount of dining options Keith. I am hoping someone can elaborate on what will be the final offerings.
  16. Indeed Keith, but we are paying a lot of money and want it right as there is so much choice and competition out there if it doesn't work for us. I'm looking forward to those that get on board first and report back.
  17. I still won't book until a few guinea pigs get on board and then find out the truth.

I'm not having the table under the stairs
  19. Markham, What about a darts tournament in the real retreat on the larger ships. One hundred and Eeeeiiiiiiggghhhtttyeeee.
  20. Yes indeed port intensive and I will only go if there are one or two ports that I like and know that I'll get a good lunch. I never get off if there's a port that I don't like. There is something rather nice watching others get off to leave you on the ship feeling a bit smug knowing that it's a rubbish port
