  1. Every ship has a few. If you don’t like Salty Dog and I don’t like it either. We usually do some meals at Vines. But on most Grand Class ships that is it. More options on Royal class. Personally we take the plus package for drinks, WiFi and tips. The casual dining for us is just an extra we may or may not need. Mostly it is the drinks that saves us money
  2. On most Grand class ships a direct route to Sabatini’s for breakfast. Aft elevators are always less crowded. Just pointing out that in my opinion I would rather not have to pay for a Sanctuary which is usually right in the bow and really far from everything
  3. The Pacific Princess was sold in 2021. There was never a Crown Grille on the ship in my knowledge the steakhouse was called the Sterling Steakhouse. I sailed that ship many times and never saw a rib eye steak offered in the MDR even in what was then called club class
  4. That is why why book 1-2 years in advance and always book aft unless it is a ship like the Coral which doesn’t have them
  5. Then you need to book aft corner suites. On the Royal class ships you could play football out there. Even on Grand Class ships there is lots of room for loungers to file along with table and 4 chairs. We always book aft
  6. I have a huge penthouse balcony with loungers on the aft of the ship. That is my own personal sanctuary
  7. But remember that tables are set aside on embarkation night for full suites since they are guaranteed a free specialty dinner and do not have to reserve in advance
  8. Is there a reason you booked a reserve mini suite or a full suite that doesn’t involve the reserve dining. If you are in a reserve mini the dining is really the only thing extra you are paying for
  9. You can dine together but it will be in regular dining not reserve. I would not give up dinner in reserve even for friends and family.
  10. Then the people in the spa should br seen as representing Princess. Talk about high pressure tactics
  11. You can do it but you will have to run it twice. Each of you needs to login and run the video one at a time. We have two phones and we can both watch it at the same time but not on one device
  12. Most ships I sail do not have those venues
  13. You can go to your cabin turn on the TV and watch the video. As long as both your medallions are present you will both get credit
  14. I have been on numerous cruises on Princess to Skagway since the slide and we have berthed in many places including tendering next to the small boat harbor, the berth behind that one where you walk through the containers and tendering from outside the pier. It has nothing to do with the line and by the way both lines are owned by the Carnival corporation
  15. Just look at the menu it says choose one from each group. You can’t keep living in the past I remember when a nice Mac, fries and coke cost $1
  16. Anything but the buffet. If you are like us and don’t eat dinner until after 7:30 it is not all that busy. The biggest issue is right at 5:00 with people who want to eat as soon as possible. I have seen lines stretching across the piazza by 4:45
  17. The future cruise department are not Princess employees. This department is a third party vendor under contract to sell cruises. They will tell you anything to sell you a cruise out of fear of losing their contract. My CVP had to work like the devil to fix errors they made on a cruise I was booking after they claimed they could get me plus packages for free. Guess what the couldn’t and then blamed it on a Princess department
  18. The HAL ship is moored right where the slide was. That location has to do a short tender to the small boat marina. It has been this way since the slide
  19. Chicken beast in MDR. Filet Mignon in Crown Grille. Nuff said
  20. Menus are better, service is better food is better. Doesn’t matter what kitchen it comes from
  21. Key words “up to “ I would be careful with anyone offering that much of a discount
  22. My CVP does all my casino bookings even bounce back offers
  23. I don’t get why one would want to pay for the Sanctuary when you have a huge balcony and room service.
  24. I do nit understand why people call the 800 number. Why doesn’t everyone have a CVP or TA ? They will have much more information than any call center
  25. Any food you take on board must be prepackaged and not been opened
