Wow!
You are correct! I’ll stop counting now.
Alcoholic drinks are limited to 15 beverages per 24-hour period (6 a.m. to 6 a.m.). Alcoholic drinks requested above the daily limits are at the discretion of the shipboard management and crew and charged at regular menu prices.
Non-alcoholic drinks do NOT have this limitation, nor do they count toward this maximum.
Maybe since the early sailings after the Pandemic they are more vigilant.
January it was used for tips and casino as well as May. I’m sure a tightening is coming if it hasn't already.
Just for perspective, I watch a Vlog from a Royal Caribbean performer and she tested positive for Covid. She was isolated and even though she reminded them she was a vegetarian they still brought meat options and one night they forgot dinner completely.
My parents had a similar experience on Holland America where they forgot to deliver food and even Tylenol.
Seems it’s an issue all over.
I vote that isolation goes away with testing.
The price has gone up on an Alaska cruise I was watching but I still need to do the math on the extras to see if I come out ahead.. It may just average out to a free drink pkg which is still a win for me.
The same day that the buffet held some fish offerings, I dare not call it Pub Lunch it was awful, they had fish and chips on the lunch menu in the MDR.
it was nothing like the pub lunch of the past, all a bit disappointing.
This was on the CB in May
I read that but submitted for the July cruise a couple of weeks back and it was applied.
My fear is them pulling back share holder from comped or discounted cruises so I was playing it safe. (HAL doesn’t allow it on comped which is where my thinking came from)
Keep an eye on it, prices fluctuate all the time.
. I have a feeling with cost of living crisis prices will eventually come back down snd probably less than your initial assessment.
I changed my table on the first night of a two 10 day B2B cruise after speaking to the crew working the door. I ended up with the same table/time for 20 days.
I think it can be done but some may choose not to deal with it and use DMW as an excuse.
Keep one of the room service covers, we usually just put one on the shelf in the closet. It also allows us to keep some fresh pastries in the room from the international cafe.
It gives you flexibility
-If you want to eat later due to excursion times
-If you want to dine in a specialty restaurant it doesn’t leave a bunch of empty tables in the MDR
-I can opt out of my reservation on nights when I want to eat pizza and watch MUTS
-If I went to tea at 3:30 then I may not be hungry for a 5pm reservation
Cruise fare but that can include Princess Plus or Premiere. Make sure you are maxed out there, no sense paying out of picket for things you don’t need to. ,
Hmmm…Maybe it was just for a few sailings they did this to mitigate the spread?!
I was on the Sky, Enchanted and Caribbean this year and all had shared tables, all even asked if we preferred to share.
Holland allows your regular PVP to book casino bookings but Princess doesn’t.
Trying to book those offers is hours of hold time.
Princess needs to look at more training and maybe restructuring a bit because this is not working.
