  1. This is the way we've done it in the past. I like the new way where they take you from the ship area directly to the beach then back. No walking up and down that hill. Looks like they put some new steps there for those who choose to take the bus and walk.
  2. This is how my voucher reads. It appears to me they upgraded me for the entire cruise. Order # 21094632 Date 12/10/2022 Onboard credit http://edocs.rccl.com/guestdocs/edocs/images/celebrity/hybris/confirmations/v1/check.png $19.98 Order total $19.98 View order details Premium Wi-Fi Upgrade Voucher Guests M and M Devices 2 $19.98 Order summary Subtotal $19.98 Order total $19.98 Onboard credit http://edocs.rccl.com/guestdocs/edocs/images/celebrity/hybris/confirmations/v1/check.png $19.98 Total due $0.00 Plan my cruise
  3. I take it, that was for 2 people. I was charged $19.98 for the both of us -- per package per person.
  4. I hear you, but when I upgraded I got charged from Celebrity for $19.98 for the two of us. The voucher didn't specify per day or which day. It didn't charge me $9.99 X 17 days. If they don't change anything between now and the time I get on board, I'll fight it out with them then.
  5. I went into the cruise planner to upgrade internet on an upcoming Solstice TA sailing. It stated the cost was $9.99 per package, not per day, so I jumped on it. I'm sure it was an IT mistake, but I'm going to hold them to it.
  6. That's the breakdown I received from my Celebrity confirmation. Comes out to $14.14 per day. You have to do the math. Worth it for me but not for my wife.
  7. I wonder if they will make a Pousse-Café if you have the permium package?
  8. The prices since have gone up. I just upgraded my classic for a 30 Aug sailing next year. With my Elite+ discount, it came out to $155.54. ($131.89 + $23.65 Grat). I did it for the more expensive cordials, premium wines, Evian and San Pellegrino waters. Wifey keeps Classic. The martini bar takes care of her using my premium package and a nice tip.
  9. In the standard configuration with the two staterooms with an alcove, the stateroom on the right has the bed by the bath, and the stateroom on the left has the bed by the balcony. Since 2106 and 2107 are adjoined by Suites, I would surmise 2106 being the stateroom on the "left" with bed by the balcony, and stateroom 2107 being the stateroom on the "right" with bed by the bath.
  10. 2102/2104 is one module, with 2104 having bed by the bath. 2106 has bed by the balcony. It is the "left side of the module. The "right" side is replaced by the Suite. 2107 has bed by the bath as it is the "right" side of the module. There is no "left side to that module as it was replaced by the Suite.
  11. They've since jacked up the prices since then, guessing trying to make up for lost revenue. It used to cost $22-$23 a day for the 4-device package -- roughly $325 for a 14-night cruise. On an upcoming cruise, they are charging $17 a day for one device, and $15 a day for each additional device. Now it would cost roughly $800. That's total BS in my opinion.
  12. Probably similar to the Celebrity Solstice Class ships. Staterooms are built in modules of two, so that makes sense connecting the plumbing between the two.
  13. Based upon all of the above yada, yada, yada, the OP can now make an intelligent decision on whether or not to upgrade. 😉
  14. This is an issue with this class of ship and the port side staterooms near the centrum. The starboard side has a barrier separating the staterooms from the centrum, so less noise can be heard. I would not take a stateroom on any of the decks very close to the centrum on the port side, period! My brother was in 8088 and had to have them close the fire door because it was so noisy.
  15. According to the Roll Call, you're booked on the Anthem TA in the Spring of 2024. Is that just a place holder?
  16. Surprised as they have in the past. I was on Eclipse last May, and it was limited to Sunset Bar. Not all obey the rules as I've seen folks smoking cigars on the pool deck.
  17. It used to be $10 a day + grat, but I believe they raised it to $15 + grat. Just do the math to see if it works for you. Based on the amount of alcohol you say you consume, I would think paying the extra $ or $$ would work for you and not upgrading. If you drink wine, you are better off with the premium package.
  18. I had a tablemate who ordered French Onion soup and could not find any onions in it. Having said that, if you don't want the onions, they tend to fall to the bottom. Just spoon out the broth.
  19. They had a M&M in the Safari Club this past May on an Alaska sailing. It wasn't a sponsored M&M that you would sign up for on the website. It may have been just for D, D+, and Z's to introduce us to the senior staff members. No gifts/raffle as I recall. They took questions and answers.
  20. That's true concerning cigarettes, but the OP is inquiring about cigar smoking.
  21. Solstice & Silhouette are the same class ship. Cigar smoking is port side aft by the Sunset Bar on both.
  22. When I decided to purchase RCL stock back in 2009 when it was $16 a share, my financial advisor cautioned me, but went ahead and purchased the shares. Our original thought was we would be sailing on Celebrity & Royal, so the OBC would be a big plus. The stock dove a little later to $5 a share, and my wife said we should purchase more. My thought, What the hell does she know? 🙄 The shares just sit there, and we have been sucking out the OBC, especially since it has now become combinable.
