  1. I am not sure why NA beer is excluded from carry-on but a few weeks ago I was at a store and the gentleman ahead of me in his forties was not allowed to buy NA beer since he didn't have his driver's license.
  2. It depends on the policy and what you need to be covered. It a hurricane pops up then all policy sales stop but in normal conditions, you can buy some policies up until sailing- with certain restrictions.
  3. In my experience, they do enforce at least some rules. I wasn't allowed to get ice cream without a shirt on even though the ice cream was barely in the door past Guys. My child was not even allowed to walk through the serenity area to get to the shortcut to our spa cabin.
  4. Didn't they restore the bootles of boozes? It is listed for my June cruise.
  5. Calculate if persons 1 and 2 will drink enough without Cheers to justify the expense for all three. If Cheers for all three cost $1500 and 1 and 2 would spend close to that without Cheers then it is a good option. Also, person 3 would have all the non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy. (Maybe even could secretly pass a few glasses of booze)
  6. I agree, I do not know how much they make but it does appear the crew make enough for most of them to return year after year. I always pay my auto-tips and generally give a little extra but to be honest I suspect many passengers who remove their tips do not tip in cash.
  7. Do they enforce this, I always scooters and monster strollers parked outside cabins.
  8. For a $100 you can buy an unlimited call and text plan if you have an ATT phone.
  9. We did not sail that ship but on the Breeze and Valor, we had similar experiences. We used the app were able to walk right to a table but it did take a little while to get service. But we were relaxed and did not get upset. It was funny that many people did not understand that a table should be reserved on the app for breakfast. We walked right past dozens of people waiting in line using the app.
  10. Right, I needed it to get my Pepsi zero!
  11. We did two cruises in 2022, and we told a paper copy of required. For those who did not have them they had to get out of line to go to a side room to have them printed. (We had to show ours a dozen times at the port and then on the ship.)
  12. We sailed on the Valor right before Thanksgiving. We found the ship in a good state of repair, the crew hardworking and friendly. The entertainment was good, but we missed the big stage productions of the past. The food was mostly good and as expected. WE ate mostly in the buffet during the day and most nights at the MDR- no major complaints.
  13. Guam is a US territory and people born there are US citizens. Carnival FAQ indicate birth certificates from Puerto Rico prior to 2010 may not be accepted but no mention of Guam.
  14. Don't you have to have a valid government photo ID to get a passport and OP says she lost it.
  15. Let's us know if you are allowed to sail! bon voyage!
  16. There are no activities for an 18 month ago and a child in swim diapers will not be allowed in the water areas but to be honest I have seen kids in diapers in pools, hot tubs, splash pads but now the crew monitor the water areas much closer.
  17. If you cancel the cruise or denied boarding, they will be automatically refunded. Good luck with the ID situation.
  18. There are things to complain about on Carnival cruise, but I find more things to enjoy. I have sailed on two cruises last year, two planned for this year, and at least one for 24. I am sure Mrs. Duffy is aware of the problems and is working to resolve those that can be fixed Some things are just personal preferences that cost too much to be resolved to the liking of some customers. I personally like the twice daily room cleaning and the nightly turn down services, but I realize those services are gone forever.
  19. I do not know what will happen in Carnival's future but in the past, I bought my 100 at $30 per share- it is now worth around $10 so that is not good, but I have gotten most of my lost money back in dividends and OBC. There are several good signs for Carnival- they bookings are up so there is a big demand for cruising and thankfully fuel prices have not skyrocketed yet but on the negative side: Carnival is in massive debt and cruise prices are behind the inflation rate. This is good for us but in the long run will it jeopardize the cruise industry?
  20. I just rented one and the first question was "are all drivers over 25?"
  21. The rule does not apply to a married couple but it comes down to it this is a come rule in the travel industry. You cannot rent a car if under 25. I am a member of a resort club where guest have to be 25 to check in.
  22. They have thrown a few odd 6 or 8 day sailings occasionally that breaks up the Sunday departure dates.
  23. Can you still get one plan and change devices? (using one at the time)
  24. I doubt the social plan would meet your needs. On our recent cruise, we bought the mid price plan for a few days and we had a hard time with the book of faces although my daughter used snap and chat ok.
  25. Would the US government deny entry to a US citizen who was sick or injured?
