  1. I cried when I read about and saw pictures of the devastation that Lahaina suffered from the fires. We stayed there on an interisland vacation while living on Oahu. Such a beautiful area. Those plate lunches we enjoyed on our vacation in Waikiki this past November really surprised me as they were a lot more food than I remembered. Ended up visiting L&L twice and both times made two meals from the mixed plate. Love that chicken and kalbi/bulgogi but the mac salad and two scoops of rice were so delicious.
  2. I agree with you on LocoMoco but don't forget: Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice for breakfast (go big and add spam as well) Korean Plate lunch - Soon's is one of our favorites Zippy's chili with rice or with spaghetti noodles Fried rice omelet Huli huli chicken Ahi, taco, and or salmon poke So much good local food.
  3. Steamed rice and sausage gravy and biscuits.
  4. I'd have to see about getting the broccoli rabe changed to some real lettuce. I am not a fan of broccoli rarb, especially on sandwiches. What would make that sandwich fantastic, after getting rid of the rabe, would be to add a fried egg, bacon, and a nice slice or two of tomato.
  5. Just as long as it's not also the Full Monty. Pretty sure CC is not ready for that. 🤣
  6. I prefer Kracken over Meyers, for the floater also.
  7. That is correct. Anything you order that is covered by the drink package is charged at $0.00 and you are not even presented with a bill to sign. Only items not covered by your drink package will be charged and you will be presented with a bill for them that includes the price and gratuity.
  8. To the best of my knowledge and experiences, Luggage Valet, has only ever been offered in Fort Lauderdal and Seattle.
  9. It's simple, you order the drink and they present you with a bill for the price of the drink, minus the $10 credit for your classic drink package, plus a 20% service fee. So a $17 drink would cost you $7 plus $1.40 or $8.40.
  10. @Cathy in Boston The only disappointing aspect of Divina's Top Sail Lounge for us was the seating and the windows. I do not know if they managed to clean them or not but the windows in the TSL were defiantly needing of replacing and or a good cleaning. Fortunately the furniture was positioned in a way in which your back or side was toward the windows. There were only two places both far corners where you really could sit and look almost straight out at the bow of the ship.
  11. I thought that is what I said, sorry it my explanation was incorrect or misleading.
  12. Thanks. I will take you up on that. I will also speak with the Retreat Concierge's and ask if they have had any feedback from guest dining in Tuscan. This is pretty much what happened to us on our last cruise when we dined in Tuscan. Ordered the filet, was not as good as the one I had the night before or a couple of days later is Luminae. Service was spotty. Best part was the waiter did recommend a nice wine to go with the food. Jim, Thanks. Unless I get some negative feedback when I inquire on the ship I'd like to give it another go. Now to look at the Luminae menu and pick a night with the fewest items we do not really like.
  13. Yes, I thought i had quoted where you mentioned ordering it and showed the picture. If not, I apologize for being unclear.
  14. We paid for our gelato as it was not included for us in the YC on Divina. We did not try and order it separately in Le Muse lor the Top Sail Lounge
  15. Not having a Murano or equivalent on the M-class is my only disappointment so far. We have still not decided whether to give the Tuscan another try or not. We were not impressed when we ate their last year.
  16. Check your account about a week after your cruise is completed and you should see the number of points for night for you cabin category times the number of nights for your cruise + 1 additional night. So if you are in a Sky Suite it is 8 points per night. For a 7-night sailing it would be 8x7+8 = 56+8 == 64 points. In Concierge and Aqua it is 5x7+5 == 40 points.
  17. As @Ex-Airbalancer said, it is one login account per person with a single device per person at a time. You can use multiple devices and your wife can use multiple devices but only one device at a time for each of you can be connected.
  18. We are going on Millennium and I had no issue getting my device hooked up to the TV in our Sky Suite -- the issue I ran into is there was no power outlet that I could access on the wall where the TV was located. The TV and the Mini-fridge were plugged into them. For our upcoming cruise, I am considering using a multi outlet plug to connect my FireTV power adapter and the TV. Just have to see what our room attendant does if I do that.
  19. You can't get there from the app. You have to log into your account on the Celebrity web site. Once you do, If it does not take you to your reservation, select your initials in the upper right hand corner, and select "upcoming cruises" On that page you will see your reservation and in the right hand side a menu -- click on "View and Print Your Documents" -- the last page is your luggage tags.
  20. Is that still on the everyday or children's menu? I remember ordering it while in Luminae when nothing else appealed to me. Always found it very good.
  21. When we sailed in the port side aft corner suite on Silhouette the window washing equipment was on deck 12 where we were staying.
  22. You are correct sir and neither did the chorus 'girls' that danced for us in the Wog Queen contest.
  23. That is what I heard as well. And I agree - they are separate, keep them that way.
  24. Certainly a lot different than the crossing ceremony I had on my first crossing in 1970 on a US Navy warship ... trash chutes, shillelagh (made from old water hoses), a dunking pool, and crawling pas shillelagh wielding shellbacks from starboard mid-ships, up around the bow, and back down the port side to the fantail where all the fun and games really happened. The crossings there after where a lot more fun for me!
