  1. For the whole review-I would have spoken to the concierge or head butler DAY 2. Some of the issues you had were unacceptable, but in all fairness did you properly request services like escorts? As far as the check in "YC LOUNGE" area-they use someone else's terminal and it can change from week to week. When the new MSC building is built-I bet you will see a whole different lounge.
  2. Make sur dits applied before final payment
  3. I would test it first-yes a rep may have told you that but you can call back again and get a different answer. MSC has just hired a lot of call agents and they are going through the training process.........
  4. I am sure--when on board you can browse and stream with the YC packages. I own a travel agency and run my business (when I need to work) with the YC internet.
  5. Once you assign the wifi to the device then you cannot change it. Yes the premium wifi is the streaming package. It is their best package. Enjoy your cruises MSC YC is the BEST!
  6. I received the from from my business manager and he stated 30
  7. As an agent and I book a ton with MSC (mostly YC)-they can transfer within 30 days of the original booking. Your TA would receive the commission paid out as if they originally booked with MSC. Yes, MSC can be difficult to work with especially on changing cabins or moving from one class of service to another. It's always best to book the original booking! I hope that helps!
  8. I would call SMC to even see if this is permitted
  9. Definitely a medical transfer exception! YC deposits are not refundable-so they transferred it. IF you dont sail on the next booking you will lose it.
  10. Alaska will be year 2 or 3 for Explore Journeys. I was just at SeaTrade conference and speaking to one of the Explora exec's.
  11. My guess is that World America will stay in Miami, other ships like Seashore or Meraviglia will be deployed to Texas. Their new terminal in Miami will be for the larger ships!
  12. Leave it at home and enjoy what the ship has to offer!
  13. Their Explora Journeys will cover Alaska....
  14. Yes, it is a limited menu-but very good selections. Just go to the restaurant and make a reservation-let them know that this is your Diamond Meal Perk. You may have to show your cruise card that will state you are Diamond status.
  15. Her one engine is limping at best. Have a friend on her this week and they have to replace one of the engines. She said cancellations will most probably happen....
  16. If you have her reservation number or sailing date-call MSC and they can add spa services, or add a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries to their room!
  17. If you booked with a travel agent they need to do it in the back office of MSC
  18. Yes you can on a closed loop cruise, it must be an original state issued birth certificate with a raised seal or state certification (Some don't have raised seals)
  19. On board credit is just that on board... you can use it to book excursions when you are on board.
  20. Was your travel agent a part of a host agency or franchise agency? They may have transferred the reservation to the host agency on behalf of the travel agent?
  21. Was it by chance a debit card versus a credit card? Debit cards will have a longer hold and they warn you about that!
  22. Did you purchase items before the cruise such as shore excursions, spa treatments or on board every $150 in purchases gets you 100 VC points.
  23. Usually C, D and F. But most of the time it is C
