  1. You should have been asked what 750 ML liquor bottle choice instead of the small bottles. Gelato/Crepes were only offered pre-covid. Covid changed so much in cruising....
  2. Just remember your bags are handed to the porter-so other than the porter no one will see the bag tags...
  3. At this point in time almost every cruise is sold out... A lower bid will most likely not win....
  4. I doubt they would have kettles when they provide the Nexpresso machines-but hey worth a ask.
  5. No there not except for a low voltage razor
  6. Its off the TA site as well-probably a charter
  7. Let me answer below... Quote: We have our first MSC cruise coming up in May out of Port Canaveral on Seaside. It has been 30 years since we cruised out of Port Canaveral. We find Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal easy to drop off and park…how does Port Canaveral compare? Yes there is parking at the terminal Seaside will overnight at Ocean Cay on the second night, which is usually a sailing’s first formal night. Does anybody know what the dress code is for that night? Nice dress for women, Suit or collared shirt for men (think a bit dressy-but you can just wear nice apparel as well-they will not allow shorts in the DR on formal nights) Does Seaside have the system of keeping your card in the slot to keep the lights on in your cabin? Yes and it must be their card because it reads the chip in the card. We purchased the Fun Pass. Is there any activity it does not include? And do you need to make reservations for any activities? No and no.... Although shows are free some cruise lines require you to make reservations…does MSC? And are any shows not free? Yes you can do this at a kiosk or on your MSC for Me app. It really becomes alive when you are on the ship-all shows are free on the Sea Class ships. We are not yet at 60 days prior to sailing and the app is not really that informative…hoping that changes at 60 days. Yes it needs to be on the ship to activate Regarding MSC customer service, I have experienced those agents who seem to know nothing as well as those agents who are both knowledgeable and helpful. So I concur with others who say it is hit-or-miss. Our kids decided to surprise us by paying the balance on our cruise. The first agent said it was impossible - the second agent got it done without any issue. Sadly I concur.... They just brought in a bunch of new hires and are still working on training.... Thank you in advance for any information you provide.

    credit cards

You have the first two days to do this otherwise they will hold your account and will not let you put anything (even drinks in the drink pkg) on your card. FYI it is VERY EASY to do this! It is a standard on all of the newer ships and the whole system is being converted to this system.
  9. It depends on what experience you booked, if it's Bella and they assigned the cabin then there's probably not a chance. Changing a cabin may activate a price change... Best to call or if you used a travel agent-have them call. Remember honey goes farther than vinegar (being spolite on the phone helps)-talk to the rep and ask them not to make ANY CHANGES until you agree to a cabin change and make sure the fare remains the same.
  10. Its just the rate code you booked under-they will know...
  11. Here's my thoughts as a agent... Cruise bookings are up 400% since COVID. When the above we probably upgraded on board it was post COVID when the ships were not booked 100% or 50% for that matter. It's not going to happen soon again.........
  12. This should help!! See attached brochure MSC Yacht Club brochure.pdf
  13. No you can book it-if it is available. We will be in the suite in October on the Seascape. It goes fast because it's an unusual suite!! For the person that talked about her hubby being tall-both my hubby and I are tall and we moved the couch out a few inches... No issue at all!
  14. Hopefully this will help!!! MSC Yacht Club brochure.pdf
  15. Life is so very precious, God Bless His Soul....
  16. They float terminals until theirs is built between C D F. It depends on port schedule-sometimes the captain does not know until the day before what terminal. I spoke to captain DiPalma one day at lunch during an event on this. The captains are anxiously awaiting the new terminal!!!
  17. It worked for me when I did a mock booking... perhaps change browser like Chrome or safari...
  18. If you cannot make payment online then yes! I just did a mock booking on the MSCCruisesUSA site and it would take me to making a deposit. I am a TA and its very easy on our site to complete payments. I would strongly suggest you call them before the hold (because that is what that is) expires...
  19. Probably November-December
  20. There usually is double Voyager points and some sort of additional OBC
  21. You really don't hear much on Deck 19...
