Yea, you will need better outside pics of the ship.  I did tons of research before booking that cabin but we loved it.  Can't see directly down but it's nowhere near obstructed as the cabins further aft.

Those cabins don’t have a sofa right? Did you miss having one?

I agree!!! We got so lucky with this entire trip....hotel in Nassau dropped by $150 the week before, $340 OBC due to price drop for our cabin, Royal up accepted for the minimum for a Grand Suite and then the cabana was just the cherry on top!! Once in a life time trip for so many reasons but amazing memories. We kept saying that we better enjoy this because it's not "normal" lol

Such great deals, wonderful you had such a great cruise!

I really like reading this sort of good news/positive attitude, thank you for reporting back

There are lounges, but no more unlimited drinks.

When ever there was chatter (rumors) about removing the D lounge, or changing requirements, so many  people claimed they didn’t care about the free drinks but wanted a place to meet with other D members.   Now, that is what RCCL provided. Enjoy

No free booze = no need to visit 😁

Has anyone sailed with one of these cabins recently? Im curious how I can get a lounge chair? Im cruising solo and this is a very pleasant surprise! Id love to be able to lay out here and read a book!

Im also wondering if the bed is by the window in these rooms? Is the headboard on the wall next to the working space?

which ship are you sailing? Harmony had added loungers to those balconies in 2019

  5. I don’t get bored on the transpacific routes, even on the smaller ships (I am booked on this TP).

Definitely book at least a balcony though, check in with your roll call friends, and I like at least the 3 night dining package for longer cruises (a change from MDR).

Also you might like to check the NZ cruise preceding the TP if you want to see more NZ, makes a great b2b.

to decide if we should go to Maui again but stay in Wailea (splurge for either the Grand Wailea or the Four Seasons), or go to Kuai.  I'd appreciate input from anyone who has been to one or both of these locations.

Wailea is very similar to Kaanapali just a little fancier. I think Kauai is the most beautiful of the islands - amazing snorkelling off the northern beaches, and is more laid back
