I am very sorry to hear this. There is NO excuse..NONE. While on the Zuiderdam I was pleasantly surprised when my 25% discount was credited to my on board account without asking. I ordered the wine package online prior to the cruise. I am hoping for the same on Koningsdam.

THANK YOU, ALL. With @wdw1972 explanation and my experience in May I believe it is tied to your card and ultimately it does not matter if you choose deliver to stateroom or dining room. One evening we even ordered one of our bottles at the Pinnacle BAR. While in the DR they did put a sticker on the card. Perhaps they do this at whatever venue your order your first bottle from. From here, the staff marks an X through the bottle number when you order. I am mainly interested in pre-ordering in case prices rise.

Thank you! In May we were on the Zuiderdam and the wines in package #1 were sufficient. But, yes, you never really know until you get on board what the selection is. For our cruise in December it is our first cruise being 4 star so very excited about the discount.

For this scenario would I choose dining room when pre-ordering online? What you describe is my preferred scenario. Thank you.

There are various wine selections in the package. Do they just make a guess and put the number of bottles from your package in your room? What happens if they are not to my liking?

On the last cruise I pre-ordered a wine package delivered to dining room. We were cruising with friends and knew we would be in dining room nightly. On our upcoming 11 night cruise we will do Tamarind first night, probably Pinnacle lunch next two days(skip dinner) and other venues. In other words, rarely in dining room. What exactly does "delivered to stateroom mean".....is it the sticker to stick on my card??? Thank you.

It appears it is worth a try. It was a no go for me at the Shore Excursion desk on the Zuiderdam in May.

They do not allow this. Your choice is to book a shore excursion or lose it.

Does the app give you capability to book lunches at the Pinnacle?

Really appreciate ALL your help. After running a few numbers, I will probably be staying with HAL. I have a nice casino discount on the HAL cruise so I think this is why the numbers are running very close. I will still be running the numbers upon release. Thanks again!

Is it me??? I am not seeing the 2025 22 day Alaska listed or the pricing. I am very interested in this as I am currently booked on the HAL 2025 28 day Alaska. Thank you!

This has happened once to me. It was in May 2022 for a TA in a balcony for May 2023. It was during the time when you booked for $200 and received $200 OBC. I didn't have any paperwork to show the casino onboard but fortunately things were in order and I didn't need to. I received a sticker on my card for complimentary drinks while in the casino. I had a little bit of OBC too. However, even if I had none of this the cruise rate (basically free) was so good I didn't care. Also, I added CO at a reasonable rate since it was a 16 day TA. This allowed me to go from my guarantee VH to a selected VA. I put the cruise on hold and then emailed my PCC to take it over. No problem booking.

OR perhaps Rotterdam is next. This summer there have been protestors at the Rotterdam port when some of the cruise ships have come in.

It does appear the city council has approved to close the city centre cruise port. I can not find an effective date yet. It was just announced an hour ago.

Yes, they can be. Some are capacity controlled so don't hesitate if you are interested.
