  1. Try looking here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/316-gulf-coast-departures/
  2. I would start by reading on the NCL board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/64-norwegian-cruise-line/ Where you will find all the NCL info you will ever need. Check out the Med Ports boards, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/8-europe/ To find out what others on your cruise are doing, look here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/307-norwegian-gem-roll-calls/
  3. I am guessing you haven't read the many threads about BBKing band, Rolling Stones Lounge, piano players, etc?
  4. It didn't when I was on board last July/August.
  5. A government photo ID is the best idea. Your passport works, as does your drivers license. Your ship card will only get you back on the ship.
  6. A quick look at Google Maps shows it to be about 10 minutes on foot.
  7. I would call the hotel and get then answer from the horse's mouth. From another thread on this board...posted a few hours before your post: "From past reports no downtown hotels offer port or airport shuttle service - expect to pay about $10-15 for a cab (you can see the port from the hotel)." Prior to Covid, Hampton Brickell had a shuttle, about $8pp.
  8. Th better place for your research would be the Celebrity board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/16-celebrity-cruises/
  9. Low, midship is always the best for least movement. Do you know you have a motion issue?
  10. Without knowing the itinerary, it's really hard to give a complete, fact based answer. But I can say Customs is rarely an issue. It's Immigration/Passport Check that is going to be the more complicated issue.
  11. I would be looking at TripAdvisor, and calling the hotel about the availability of shuttle to the port.
  12. I would be asking this on the Celebrity board, as its a Celebrity policy: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/16-celebrity-cruises/ I am sure there are many dress code threads there.
  13. Hard to answer for your personal perspective. But when we were on N. Statendam in July/August, it was a great cruise, and an excellent ship. As mentioned by others, if a single port is your most important goal, do a land trip there.
  14. Puerto Vallarta has a dolphin encounter, and is a common stop on Canal cruises, going either way. I agree with the others, go the direction the cruise that works for you goes. Some will say to consider that you gain time going westbound, but you lost, or will lose that time at some point during the overall trip. Don't over think these details.
  15. The hotels will be arranging with car or shuttle services. Not directly provide the transport, it's over an hour and 15 minutes. . There are many mentioned here. Romecabs is one, Rome in Limo is another.
  16. That sort of information is always available on airport websites. Google is your friend.
  17. Per Cruise Critic rules, tour shares like this are arranged on your Roll Call. Check that out.
  18. Different times based on the different seasons. Hawaii cruises are October to May. So for Oct 24- May 25, probably later this Spring into Summer. For Oct 25- May 26, probably Spring 2024.
  19. There are many threads here on the topic. It's not required, and many reports almost indicate it's being quietly phased out. We boarded 3 cruises in 2022 easily without using VeriFly.
  20. The plane from LHR to PHX will turn around, and leave for LHR in 2 or 3 hours. At LHR, different planes will usually be rotated, depending on the available planes, and the required maintenance.
  21. Yep. They frequently have technicians, contractors and other outside specialists on board for repairs or work that can be done while underway. Definitely not unusual.
  22. Train is an option...discussed here from time to time. But the easiest in Uber/Lyft.
  23. The beverages in the lounge, with the exception of water, coffee, a few fruit juices, aren't complementary.
