  1. We have sailed out of NJ 3 times since December. Each time they checked the paperwork and let people in in order of their time. Once that queue is cleared, they have the option of letting other people in early, but it's totally based on how the line is going.
  2. Just speak to the maitre d at which ever restaurant is open for lunch. We have the same issue
  3. I've never paid for a test when I go into the pharmacy, just if I did it over the computer
  4. It was amusing on the Anthem in May. They handed us the wine list and were out of the first 3 reds we asked for. We finally said "well, what DO you have".
  5. If I was given an option between jumping and watching Cats, I'd be jumping.
  6. You have to answer on the health questionnaire if anyone in the group has been positive in the last 10 days. That eliminates your wife. Call Royal Caribbean and ask them the process for the cancellation.
  7. I second the idea of picking up a carton at dinner and keeping it on ice overnight
  8. We definitely did a 4 day cruise to get the points needed for the next level.
  9. How frustrating. I would be quite wound up if that happened to me. I hope it all comes together in the next 3 days so you can enjoy your flights and your cruise
  10. It's the country the ship is sailing to that actually requires a booster if your initial doses are more than 270 days prior to the cruise.
  11. Generally they do not give any OBC for changes in ports due to weather unless the cruise has to be shortened
  12. As someone who didn't take our first cruise until long after our kids were grown and gone because that's when we could finally afford it, I appreciate having to wait to cruise. As someone who has worked for tips, I know how important it is to tip for a job well done. If I can't afford the cost, I don't do it and if I can't afford something, I certainly don't take it out on the staff.
  13. If I can afford to cruise, I can afford to tip. Just came off a 28 night B2B, have a 43 night next Spring with a bunch of 10 day ones sprinkled in between. I'll tip the same amount per day on each.
  14. We truly enjoyed every show on Anthem. We've seen all 3 at least three times each. I enjoyed The Book more this last time because they've re-tooled it a little bit to make the story more understandable. The juggler was also a comedian and he was really funny.
  15. The ship does allow police and drug sniffing dogs on in Bermuda
  16. If you are cruising in Europe, he could easily be denied boarding. If you are cruising in the US, Canada and Caribbean, he should be fine. Or, he could just get the booster and not have to worry.
  17. Probably many fewer people who could go in and take your child at home.
  18. It certainly didn't make us statisticians, but it did make us qualified to understand research and research validity.
  19. Not sure what practitioners you know who don't understand research. I took a full course in statistics, then took a course on research methodology and interpretation. It was mandatory in my program, as was a semester of epidemiology.
  20. The good news is that they are under 12 and they can still board. Get the PCR and have a great trip.
  21. No cost protection if you chose to downgrade after the final payment.
  22. In Europe, there are countries that require that you've either had a booster or that your second shot is not more than 270 days prior to sailing
