  1. According to Celebrity’s website, guest capacity is 2593.
  2. Never received a second email. Hope they are rethinking and amending, but I will not hold my breath.
  3. I tried to click to acknowledge receipt, and it said my time to respond to it notification had expired. Guess we will be asked to sign a document in the port.
  4. I did a web search and found a YouTube video. Family Veranda Stateroom 7107 Tour (Celebrity Reflection) It does have forward facing windows and some awkward corners. The veranda is small, and I see a wardrobe and what looks like a very tiny table on one side of the master bed but roomy overall. I do see something, maybe a small desk beyond the wardrobe in the master.
  5. I do not know how accurate it is, but we are sailing in Concierge next month and found the menu for embarkation lunch on the ap under loyalty and suites. Our menu includes butternut squash soup or Caesar salad as starters; roast salmon, short ribs,, grilled chicken, or penne pasta as entrees; chocolate cake or apple pie as desserts; wine selections for $$.
  6. I find the ship diagrams on the walls with “you are here” notes helpful as well as the stateroom numbers.
  7. Thanks. I found the lunch listed on the app. It says 11:30 to 1:30 for our cruise.
  8. Thanks. We recently upgraded from an OV to 6136 for the large balcony. We haven’t sailed CC since the lunch was added, and we are really looking forward to the perk. We have an 11 to 11:30 AM boarding time. What is the usual time for the MDR lunch? I am sure we can ask at checkin.
  9. Are you saying there is no longer a Concierge boarding day lunch in the dining room?
  10. Thank you. That worked! Without clicking on loyalty, I could not figure out how to delete Captain’s Club number!
  11. My husband has a problem with all the activity in the main dining room due to a brain injury. He wants the familiarity of a one-course, quick meal like we have at home and is more comfortable seeing his food before deciding, and going to a quiet corner of the ocean view cafe to eat. We only eat meals in the buffet, the Captain’s Club coffee break, or continental room service breakfast. I have noticed more food service in the evening buffet over the past several years except on lobster night on Millennium in Alaska. However, we are happy with only a few choices. The officers and entertainment staff eat dinner in the buffet as well. When the buffet is busy at lunch, I find him a seat and go for our food while he remains seated.
  12. On Millie we received a call telling us our breakfast had arrived and to please open the door. They are very prompt and knock is almost silent.
  13. Thanks for the replies! Plan my cruise did not come up until my third visit to the site this morning, but I am happy to report that shore excursions appear when I scroll down past the flights on manage reservation/trip. I was using my iPad and Safari. Celebrity’s site sometimes does not always work well for me with Safari. The Calendar is still not in a good format for printing. I will make my own. I like to hang a calendar on the stateroom wall to keep us organized.
  14. I used to be able to pull up shore excursions on the X site, but the web page has changed. I found a menu listing shore excursions, but clicking on it brings up flights on both Safari and Windows. I am able to access shore excursions and my calendar through an email from Celebrity, but I cannot find it without the link in the email. In addition, I have always filled in all our planned activities on the calendar provided for each cruise and printed it out in a couple of pages. I cannot print the current calendar that I find (when I am able to get to shore excursions offering). Any help navigating the web site will be appreciated. TIA!
  15. I filed a claim with them for a missed cruise and received a refund in two or three weeks. Very quick. I also filed for trip interruption for our July post-cruise tour which was interrupted due to our catching COVID. That claim took closer to 90 days. I took photos of documents with my iPAD to upload for one claim and scanned to the computer from my printer for the other claim. Both methods worked.
  16. I had to apply to our travel insurance purchased through Celebrity for the balance of the cruise fare.
  17. I recently filed for a missed cruise when we had to leave Summit for a medical emergency during the first leg of a B2B and missed the 2nd cruise. I was told it would be automatically refunded, but only a small refundable portion appeared on our credit card. Therefore, I filed with cruise care and received a check for the rest of the cruise fare within a couple weeks of submitting a claim.
  18. Both times we have used them they have dated the test a day later than the date where we were located. Not a problem, but that later date on our positive test makes us have to wait one extra day to apply for a C of Recovery. (Two days before our departure, so it works.)
  19. I purchased and used an over-the-door hanger with two prongs and placed it on the framing structure aroud the drawers and cabinets. Great for holding totes, pursses, cameras, jackets, etc.
  20. Sorry, I found it yesterday when I was researching recovery letter requirements. I am not finding it easily today. Just panicking that our antigen test will not be good enough on August 4 when we apply for the letter or that the cruiseline will not accept our letter and antigen test even though they clearly state PCR or antigen test on the website. Requirements for our itinerary (Cape Liberty to Iceland and Iceland to Boston) are not listed on Celebrity cite, but Jim_Lain is on the same B2B. Hoping to read of Jim's experience.
  21. Did it work work for you to get the COF with the antigen test? Holding my breath that our EMed antigen test results will be enough to get a COF even though the CDC site says PCR tests are required. We cannot apply for the COF until Aug. 4 for the Aug. 7 cruise. Too late for a PCR. First tested positive on July 23 without a proctor, but our official proctored EMed letter is dated July 25 even though the email is dated July 24. We have been reluctant to take another test to see if the pink line is still showing...Don't want to see it yet.
  22. We still have a couple of eMed tests, so we can use those. I just watched a JJ Cruise video documenting a very bad experience with On-Point. They had scheduled a specific time the morning they were leaving, woke up, turned on the computer to find the company had moved up their appointment to an earlier time, and they had already missed it. They went on at their originally scheduled time, and no doc appeared. They went to CVS which they had as a backup and have been unable to get a refund from On-Pointe. Also, our son just completed an Alaska cruise with a COR. He had to wait for a medical officer to review his paperwork, but no test was required.
  23. Do we have to test prior to the first leg or just prior to the 2nd with the COR?
  24. They do not like the photos we take and re-do them at the pier. We try anyway. The one we posted for our last two cruises looks like Mr. & Mrs. Sad Sack.
