  1. I would probably suggest as soon as you board, go to the Excursion Desk (or as soon as it opens), and check the availability with them.
  2. Back in April of 2019, we sailed on Sinfonia, 12 night Mediterranean. We were in a “suite” on deck 12, which was basically an Aires balcony cabin. We did have a separate dining area, but ate dinner in the main dining room, and the Top Sail on deck 13, no pool though. The buffet on deck 11 was small, but the had burgers that reminded me of McD’s. The theater shows were goof, but repeated after day 7. My favorite bar was the Irish Pub, which also included a limited food menu. I would not hesitate to book Sinfonia, but the older, smaller ships don’t offer all of the amenities that you might be looking for!!
  3. I’ve seen tours of the YC, I don’t have a problem with that, it’s the people that feel they are entitled to go in the YC because their “friends” are in YC!
  4. We all keep forgetting that we live in a world of entitlement, pay for Bella interior, get YC for free!!!
  5. Let’s hope not, she still is not paying for YC.
  6. I saw that comment on Jamie’s thread also and almost commented about the dreaded “Interlopers “ in YC!!
  7. Even if the gratuity was a few dollars more, it would be worth the added cost!!
  8. We were on the October 4 Meraviglia cruise to NE/Canada. Hola does have all you can eat, for about $18 or so. College and NFL football was on in the Anchor Pub and TV Studio. Sometimes also on the big poolside screen. NFL games were also in cabin, channels were added on Sunday only. In the Anchor bar, they sometimes had two games on, other times only one.
  9. We were on Seascape in August, we walked around the port area in Ocho Rios, there were quite a few police visible along with the usual excursion hawkers!! We felt completely safe!
  10. I always print extra room tags and put inside our luggage and also inside our carry on bags. We place them so that the are right on top as the bag is opened.
  11. I don’t remember seeing the availability of obc purchases, but you can buy specialty restaurant packages and drink packages, among other pre cruise purchases. Download the MSC for me app if you haven’t done so.
  12. Debarked the 15th of October, received the next day via email.
  13. I hope not, this practice would surely doom the complimentary diamond meal. Just imagine if everyone started feeling entitled and taking friends in for a free meal!!
  14. Oops, my bad, 72 Bowne St: Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, this isn’t s the correct address, 24 is hotel in Manhattan!!
  15. Clinton wharf looks like the pier for the NY water taxi/ shuttles, but the ship will be about 50 yards away. This is the address I gave our driver:140 W 24 Street Brooklyn.
  16. Tell him Rick and Jo said “Hi”, if you see him or Anthony!
  17. Our Jr. Butler was Roque Rubenecia. The duck is in a very safe location!!
  18. Who’s your butler? We had Anthony, October 4-15. If you see who is in cabin 14003, I hid a duck at disembarkation!
  19. Valet parking only, close to $25/day. They charge a fuel surcharge of $12/ day/ per person.
  20. WOW, was it your goal to go and find all of that?? I was on the October 4th cruise and saw nothing like the pictures posted! True the return to ship was slow, but a lot I would attribute to passengers waiting until at the security to unload pockets, get room cards out, etc. (They do need more than one walk through scanner and they were sensitive)
  21. Cruise Radio is announcing that Margaritaville at Sea has bought the Costa Atlantica . The ship will be named MAS Islander!
  22. You should get all the perks of YC. Look at your latest paperwork.
  23. From the US to Canada should not be a problem, when you enter the US, possible slow downs!
