Well looks like we are just going to stay with our classic package for our April cruise on Beyond. I was going to call and see I could get old pricing but DW says she’s fine with Classic. I rarely get premium unless it’s included at time of booking. Maybe they will run some sales and we will change our mind.

I apologize… it’s from $89 to $109 plus gratuities. So $20 a day or $40 a day plus gratuities if we both upgrade. I looked on our cruise in April and no discounts. May try calling tomorrow.

Wow nothing like a increase. It would make sense and this depends on how much you drink if you already have the classic package and want to upgrade to the premium just pay the difference instead of paying $40 a day to upgrade plus gratuities. I’m guessing if single drink price allowances they would go up proportionally the current differences are $9 (Classic) and $15 (premium). You’d have to drink 6-1/2 martinis everyday to break even. You could still drink anything on Classic. Should be enough selection and options.

May have been covered many times but was wondering if any recent cruisers know if there is any Diet white soda onboard such as diet 7up or Sprite Zero on board. I know they have regular sprite. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been on 12 Celebrity cruises. It’s all what you make it. If you want a Carnival cruise atmosphere then Celebrity may not be for you. There’s things on the ship that go way after midnight. Silent Disco, Full Moon Pool party and all of the bars are open till late. Never had a boring or snoozing type night… Always a blast!

Thanks everyone. The card says I can use for purchases on Celebrity and Royal. What about paying for the cruise with it? I need to make final payment by October 4 so wouldn’t get the $300 in time and use it to pay on this cruise fare but have one in April I could use it on. Not sure how long it takes for points to appear. Thanks again.

I know this probably has been covered before and we have received an offer in the past for $100 OBC for opening a Celebrity credit card. Not enough OBC to do it for us but now we just received an offer for $300 OBC. My question is how do you receive it for a future cruise? I know you need to spend $1000 in the first 90 days. But how does that $300 get onto your cruise booking. Thank you in advance!

That’s great you all got free cruises. Enjoy! We got the Riviera offer and not the Caribbean one. When did you all get the Caribbean one? Just a quick other question. Do they send you a 1099 form for the value of the cruise that you need to claim on taxes or is that just if you win a cruise?

My wife entered this contest. Got a email yesterday she won. Called vv today got a lady and she also verified we won. Says we will be get a access code to enter in, in a few days. I understand the whole SSN and birthday thing. they have to report anything over $600 to IRS so you pay taxes on it. Just seems crazy to take this long a week into September when most of you were writing in late July. Does anyone have any new info on this? Does this seem like the same protocol all winners have gotten? Do they ask for credit card numbers? is this legit??

Go to Shipmate.com you can create an account. You can add the year, ship, it will bring up the itinerary with the exact dates and islands. We were in the same boat so to speak…so now we have a log of all the cruises and places we’ve been. It’s a pretty neat site. Try it and write back to see how it went. My wife was on a Norwegian cruise in 1986 could not find that one… have fun..

We love Murano’s Flambeau’d Table side lobster. Plus we did a Murano’s lunch one with a lobster tail and fillet that was cooked perfectly and was excellent. Never done Petit Chef. Tuscan Grill has been pretty good but still not as good as Murano’s IMHO.
