Rare mexicobob Posted September 11, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2016 Have not been on Windstar (yet) much less the cabin in question. On our recent cruise to Alaska on Carnival we booked a 5 room suite. Expensive but worth every penny. You get what you pay for. We plan our next cruise to be on Windstar. Will book the best cabin available. Many times it seems the best cabins sell out first.

Is it worth the extra $$$ Any extra perks ? Was it noisy? Thanks!!!! Try using a Google search. I don't think it would be worth the $$$. I read a CC review that said it was noisy, but I have no personal experience. Not sure what you mean by "extra perks". Don't think anything extra is included. laurelguy Posted September 22, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2016 Hey Goldens. Been in OS on both Spirit and Star and it's great. Deck 1 but just fine. Tucked away...nice little couch, etc. Not huge, not the Taj Mahal but if you're willing to spend the bucks..it's a great cabin. Enjoy!

Except for the owner's cabin, all the cabins on the Wind Spirit and the Wind Star are identical. There are no 5 room suites and no additional perks for booking the owners suite. The owner's suite has 220 square feet, regular cabins 188. We would not pay additional for the suite on a small ship like this. Ski Mom 2 Posted October 3, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 3, 2016 We met the folks that were in the owners suite on the Wind Spirit on our Panama Canal cruise. We peaked in at the end of the cruise. It appeared to us that it use to be two rooms and was converted to the suite. They had a large sofa and the layout was different from our room. I'm sorry I don't remember much else.
