What Decks are the Gangways On Britannia for Embarking & Disembarking?

I was on only recently but now I'm not sure but deck 5 and 6 rings a bell. Someone who knows for sure will be on soon

Hi... thank you Strawberry field....we haven't tried Britannia but trying to decide on cabin location for overall ease of getting around. There is mixed reviews about the ship so want to find out for myself

The deck for embarkation depends where you are and what the tide is doing./

We got on and off on deck 4 around the Caribbean.

Yes deck 4 was used in the ports when we were on her recently,biggest problem getting around we found was that being at the stern of the ship the aft lifts are pretty well useless for anything below deck 7.

In cruise ports normally deck 4 for low-level gangways, but some bigger ports may have an airbridge which might be on decks 5 to 7. Southampton will normally use an airbridge to deck 7.

Just got off today. Southampton embarkation and disembarkation were both deck 5. During the cruise we used 4, 5 and 6 depending on the tide and dock at each port.

It will vary with the tide. The officers on the bridge will usually make an announcement as to which decks are being used for the gangways and the signage by the lifts and stairwells is very good to follow. :)
