Does Royal still do towel animals on Allure?

Does Royal still do towel animals on Allure? My grandson would love that.

Yes, though you may not get a new animal every day.

We got a couple on our Sept 13th cruise.

On a 7 night cruise we usually get a towel animal on nights 2,4 and 6.

we as adults got a few, but the grandsons got one everyday in their room, I think the staff do it for children more because they know they are delighted with them...On NCl we got one everyday in our room. no children, have to admit I enjoy them.;)

Every night except the last one x

We've had only one so far, and this is day 3. I'm certain if you asked the stateroom attendant to do them for your grandson, you could have them every night.

Seems to be increasingly hit or miss depending on your room attendant...pity

We came with our kids back in April of last year and got towel animals on only 2 nights or so. I remember why back getting them nightly (but smaller ships)

After many cruises, we've seen enough towel animals. On a transatlantic b2b asked the steward to not bother, thinking it would give him a few extra minutes for other things. We were told that if the room was inspected by the supervisor and the animal was not present, the steward would not get a good rating.

I am on board now but did not have any so far.

I'm delighted with them and I am not a child.

We usually get two evenings, but we don't have kids either so I don't mind not getting any...save the towels lol.

It is disappointing that we probably won't be getting them every night. I love them. It is fun to come back to the room and see what is waiting for you. I know my grandson will be excited. I just can't wait to take him on his first cruise!

We have generally found that when we compliment our cabin attendant on how nice the towel animals are, and how much we enjoy and appreciate them, we usually get more (sometimes more than one in a single day).

(I know the question was about Allure but.....) just to mention that on our Rhapsody cruise last week we had towel animals virtually every night. It became a ritual to send photos to our family at home every night! Great fun
