Hotels in Vancouver for day use before flight home to London

I will be disembarking - Star Princess - on Saturday 12th May 2018

I know from previous cruises I have to be up early and out my cabin by 8am

Whats the latest time I would be required to disembark Star Princess at ?

Also does anyone know of any hotels in Vancouver that have rooms for a day use? Can leave my suitcase there and see more of the city before coming back and showering and going to the airport?

We liked the Marriott Pinnacle downtown, about 4 blocks from the pier.

But not sure if they allow day use?

The latest you will be allowed on the ship is about 10am.

You could look on the West Coast departures board for hotel recommendations, and contact a couple of them for day room options.

There is a Fairmont at the Airport and I believe they do a day rate. Its fantastic and incorporated into the airport, so you can just go right to the gate from the hotel.

I live in Vancouver. Take the Skytrain to YVR airport. The Fairmont is the BEST place to stay anytime as it's right in the terminal. If you wanted to venture off shopping you could take the Skytrain back downtown or into Richmond. If the Fairmont doesn't do day rooms, check River Rock Casino Hotel. It's three stations from YVR and has a direct bridge from the train station to the hotel. Both hotels are great! Enjoy our beautiful city.

Be aware that May 12 is a three ship day with the Amsterdam and Nordam. The terminal will be very busy in the morning.

If you'd like to just leave your luggage and go explore downtown Vancouver, I've dropped off my bag at the Pan Pacific Hotel (right next to the cruise terminal). I forget how much it was and if they still do it. After wandering about, I collected my bag and took the train to the airport - a 30 mins ride.

There is a storage facility at the port for luggage so consider that as an option.
