Yes and they use for tournaments and some evening people just come by and sit in, informal.

Yes, no tournaments though, Princess stopped them a few years ago.

Game is $1-2 No Limit. If you want to play and there is no game going yet, ask the Casino host to announce the game and then go sit at the table. Players will eventually come, but if no one is there when they walk by, they will assume there is no one else wanting to play which will delay the start of the game.

FYI- there is no rake with only two players. The rake starts when the third player is dealt in.

I wonder why they do that. On my previous cruises, tournaments were always sold out. When the table was $1-2 no limit it was almost always empty. We would even ask the casino host for more tournaments and they always refused

On the Royal, people stopped playing because they felt the rake was too high. (Sorry, don't remember the %.)
