View & Verandah update

I saw the thread when it was first announced and my two sailings were not included. I looked again today and both were eligible. I had the promo added. I wish it included the drink package but I did get included gratuities.

How does View and Verandah compare to Explore Four. Is one a better choice?

No, my trips are not for a while.

The explore 4 was much better on my last trip because it included the drink package as well. I’ll see if it makes sense to switch to that when/if it’s announced over the summer.

Glad you were able to get the View and Verandah promotion added to your sailings.

Having the gratuities taken care of is a big plus.

We are holding a reservation which gave us free gratuities but when I called to switch to View and Veranda a while back, I was told I'd lose the gratuities if I switched. Any hints on how you were able to keep the gratuities? Thanks.

Gratuities on V&V are a perk for Suite bookings.

I was told the same thing - but they forgot that I was in a Vista Suite. Had to point that out to them.

Thanks. That answers my question. We are only in a lowly ocean-view (but I'll love it anywat because it means I'm on a ship and cruising).
