gbenjo Posted September 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2018 Good News.......Royal Caribbean and Celebrity will not be collecting written health questionnaires at check in this season. Guests will instead just be asked if they have had any cold / flu symptoms etc in the last seven days, so no more standing in line trying to fill out the old forms. This should make the check in process even quicker than normal ..not to mention the " massive" cost savings of all those company pens being "pinched" by guests when filling out the old forms 😂😂😂. Let's hope everyone is honest in their answers, although no different to just ticking no on the written form regardless. 😱

Tatka Posted September 30, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 30, 2018 Yes, it’s a good thing. IMHO it was a useless form, which was inconvenient to fill.

By The Bay Posted September 30, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2018 The form was not required on our cruise with P&O 2 weeks ago. Hope it spreads to Princess and Carnival.

The_Big_M Posted October 5, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 5, 2018 Makes sense. Would have always been better done orally, just like when check in asks if you have prohibited items at the airport. No reason for the form.

No reason for the form. The paper form would give the cruise line a signed document as proof that an " ill" guest had not declared they were sick when boarding and may I guess have some legal ramafications in an extreme case but the verbal method wil certainly speed things up at check in

Rare frantic36 Posted October 5, 2018 #10 Share Posted October 5, 2018 We didn't need to fill in the form in July in Barcelona. It was a Seabourn cruise which is part of the Carnival brand. I just thought it was port specific. We are boarding Seabourn again in Sydney soon so it will be interesting to see if it is the same.
