Westerdam has some new decor

Got these from my husband who was on the one night cruise last night.

Westerdam holds a very special place in my heart so I'm glad to see there are some little touches of modernization here and there.

Here are some pics from around the ship... I just wish I knew of a better way to get them on here larger (had to take picture messages and screenshot them so the phone app would select and upload them.) If anyone has any bright ideas, please do share :) :

Yeah it does. He sent a panorama of the Explorer's Lounge too. I hope someone can help with making these bigger because it really does look amazing

I love the looks of the Explorers Lounge.

The Dive In will be the same on all ships -- it is hard to get good pictures because of the plastic covering.

I cant recall how it looked before. When i saw it in person it didn't look any different than any other hal ship. What change are you noticing from other ships?

Think Big Mac sauce or Thousand Island dressing add relish. I'm sure there's some spices in it but the base is mayonnaise, ketchup, and pickle relish.

I cant recall how it looked before. When i saw it in person it didn't look any different than any other hal ship. What change are you noticing from other ships?

DH tried the sauce -- didn't care for it.

We noticed quite a few other people asked not to have the sauce put on the burgers and hot dogs.

Disappointed with the enclosed glass around the Explorers.... probably to reduce noise. The 'palm leaf' decor is tacky. A pity the beautiful open lounge... the beautiful mural hidden. The palms on the glass so someone does not walk into the glass.

Whew! I thought the glass "replaced" the mural, and was very upset for a moment there! I LOVE that mural! I'm saddened that I will no longer be able to sit and enjoy it from a comfy chair by the window, but thank goodness it wasn't removed, like I first thought. :o

Any word on the Neptune Lounge sideboard situation? Hopefully, it was corrected during her facelift. Thanks.

Sounds like the sauce would be great on a burger like a Big Mac, but hot dogs just have to have mustard for me, not ketchup/mayo. The Dive-In seems to be a huge improvement over the Terrace Grill.

Nope it was not. The first few days of my cruise the sideboard food was hidden in the back. After that they had someone behind a velvet rope handing you what you wanted:rolleyes:. There was actually a thread about it. I will see if I can find it.
