Cigars on The Sky (Sailing this weekend!)

Did a search and couldn't find any recent answers. I know that there isn't a cigar lounge on The Sky (even though they have a full cigar menu for purchase). But, can any recent cruiser let me know if my DH will be able to smoke cigars anywhere on board?

So,,, the answer is that your DH can smoke cigars in designated outside smoking areas. But, since cigar smokes is offensive to many, maybe he should give it up for the 3 or 4 days you are on ship.

Just turn on the in-room TV, and 3 - 4 channels tell you were the smoking areas are located.

P.S. There were several cigar smokers in the casino when we left Great Stirrup Cay on the last night of the 3-day cruise last week.

The Sky seems to be NCL's forgotten step-child... lol... Not much recent info on here... except for the Cuba sailing. I plan to do a thorough review and will let you know what I find out.

There is a smoking area on deck 12 mid-forward, right above the pool deck stage. There is a bar there with tables and smoking posts, they circle the top of the atrium.

I smoked a cigar at that location, as BirdTravel said, any of the outdoor designated spots.

If he is in the smoking section, shouldn't be a problem.

I have found cigars are very polarizing. Either people like them or hate them, there is no middle ground. I am very respectful of people when enjoying my Ghurka or Baccarat but have a problem when someone comes into the small isolated area smokers have been placed in or sit in close proximity and complain or make their comments and faces. There is nothing better than a relaxing day on the ship with an adult beverage, good company and a fine cigar, not rolled too tight, made of the finest blend of tobacco's from several of the islands we might have just visited.:cool:

We got off the sky on friday. You can smoke on the pool deck (port side). There were plenty of people outside smoking, and in the casino also. But there was not an indoor lounge like other ships. Hope this helps.
