Sotermarler Posted September 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2018 I cancelled my cruise on 7/3/18 ( before final payment) as of today 9/23 I still haven’t received it back. Is this normal amount of time or should I call and follow up for it? What has others experience been? Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums If you have any additional difficulties or delays after one more request, then if you paid by charge card, file a dispute. (There may be a deadline, so perhaps you should have dealt with this sooner. 2.5 months is nuts for them not to refund your deposit.) Be prepared to have a copy of the refund policy (deadlines) and a copy of your notice of cancellation. If the charge card company doesn't request it right away, they'll probably need it soon. Maniacal Cruiser Posted September 24, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 24, 2018 xxx Jut want to give you a heads up that 'hiding' your email address with [at] and [dot] is of no use what-so-ever. Spam bots were LONG LONG ago coded to get around that simple little trick.
ready2cruzagain Posted September 24, 2018 #6 Share Posted September 24, 2018 We cancelled a cruise with NCL last month and it took 10 days to get our deposit refunded to our credit card. You need to call immediately. I would call my credit card if I were you and dispute the charge because you only have so long to do it. Mine is 180 days but each is different. Rare shof515 Posted September 24, 2018 #8 Share Posted September 24, 2018 did your credit card provider give you a new credit card? Earlier this year when Norwegian canceled my cruise, they had issues refunding my money back because my credit card on file was no good. I had to call them and give them the new credit card number, the refund did take a few days.
Sotermarler Posted September 30, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted September 30, 2018 I am good, I’ll admit it I’m a dumb@ss. I thoughtI had read it would be refunded as a hard check, but it was in fact refunded to my CC. Thanks for all of your help!
