CruisinMatt Posted May 8, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Actually it's only a special check-in line. You still have to wait in the regular holding area.
dixieva Posted May 8, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2013 We have always had the special check in line and waited in the suite guests area to board first when staying in a JS.
Iluvcruising2 Posted May 8, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Yes, JS passengers get to use the line for 'Suites'.
johneeo Posted May 8, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Actually it's only a special check-in line. You still have to wait in the regular holding area. No you don't. You are entitled to go to the suites area.
ksuds Posted May 8, 2013 #9 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Junior Suites are not seated in the area that Diamond Plus, Pinnacle, Suites get to wait prior to boarding. Unless it's based on the port, I haven't seen it happen in the ports we've gone out of. For suites it's gold card only.
CruisinMatt Posted May 8, 2013 #10 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Must depend on the port, day of week, or phase of the moon. Either way - big deal - everyone waiting gets on the ship within an hours time...
MR NW GUY Posted May 8, 2013 #11 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Gee... that was a miss mash of confusion! I vote NO. Per attached RCL Link, Jr. Suites are excluded from the priority check in. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/contentWithHero.do?pagename=enhanced_program_for_suite_guests
Aquahound Posted May 8, 2013 #12 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Folks, look at the Op's signature. He is going on Allure. That means Terminal 18 at Port Everglades. As someone who has cruised in a JS 3 times on Oasis Class, I can confirm the answer is YES. In the terminal, there is a roped off suite waiting area with couches. If you are in a JS, you absolutely are able to wait in that lounge area.

Per attached RCL Link, Jr. Suites are excluded from the priority check in. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/contentWithHero.do?pagename=enhanced_program_for_suite_guests When you print your SetSail Pass, when staying in a JS cabin, it will say "SUITE" in the circle at the top. This is what indicates to the pier reps which line you are to check-in at.
