westcruzer Posted January 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2012 I wanted to see what everyone listens to when they are cruising. Please list a specific song(s) so others can check out that specific song. If you just say "anything by xxxxx" it's losing the purpose here to share great cruising songs. Kenny Chesney - Old Blue Chair Zack Brown Band - Toes UB40 - Red Red Wine Kenny Chesney/Uncle Kracker - When The Sun Goes Down
Texarribean Chick Posted January 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Kenny Chesney - No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem Rod Stewart - Some Guys have All the Luck - (not really a cruise song per say; but almost every Lido Deck Calypso band plays it and it sounds like "Some Guys have all de lock!" - cute. westcruzer Posted January 21, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted January 21, 2012 That's why I like red red wine. When I was 9 my Dad took me on my first cruise and the band on the Lido deck was playing that song and it brings back great cruise memories. fellowfloater Posted January 21, 2012 #8 Share Posted January 21, 2012 At first I thought this was a dumb question then I realized that I happily listened to Emmy Lou Harris on the Serenidity Deck on board the Magic on our (famous) Trans Atlantic Crossing from Barcelona to Galveston. Ipads and Bose Quiet Headsets make a wonderful combination!

Spaniel Lover Posted January 21, 2012 #10 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Don't forget "Cruising" by Smokey Robinson... or the version by Huey Lewis & Gwyneth Paltrow. I'm surprised that they don't offer this song for "SuperStar Live" on Carnival cruises. This would be a perfect duet for people to sing on a cruise. Batzo Posted January 22, 2012 #22 Share Posted January 22, 2012 This song has sat on the top of my cruise music playlist for my last 5 cruises and will probably still be at the top for my next 5 or 10 or 12 :D It's just got one of those feel good rythms that makes ya want to dance. Admitedly, it's not for everyone since it's The Venga Boys singing about 'fun' per-say on the beach ;) Happy Sailings Batty Batzo
