You know, things that aren't there right now, but you would be willing to pay for them if they were.

I would be willing to pay for a tour of the entire ship - engine room, kitchen, - a big all access tour. That would be awesome:p

There was a Texas Holdem Tournment on the Mariner of Sea cruise last December, and it was great, a group of about 200 were booked, it was in the convention center, Chris Moneymaker, and Greg Raymour were there, might have one this December

I would definitely pay extra for a non-smoking cruise. I would also pay for ballroom dance lessons because I want to be able to dance like the celebrities :D I would also pay extra (just a little bit extra) for a chair by the pool, after 10 a.m., on sea days.

six years ago we went on Carnival's first non smoking ship-the paradise....it was great. I hope we don't run into a lot of smoke this time....i HATE it. the cost of the cruise on paradise was not extra...but i think they stopped the non smoking cruises a few years back, since there wasn't the demand they expected. can you believe that? i think ALL ships should be non smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, as a smoker, I resent you wanting all cruise ships to be nonsmoking, just so you are happy. We can all live together without your prejudice.

I would pay extra to sit on a floor of the restaurant where families with kids aren't allowed.

I am fighting cancer and my younger sister died from it. Who smoked? My mother. This is not prejudice. It is fear.

I absoultely agree with this one - definitely would pay for a tour of the engine room, water treatment plant, kitchen, etc. I would LOVE that! :p

And I probably wouldn't pay for a non-smoking cruise but I would sure like that. I don't know if this is going on anywhere else, but some cities here in Canada have gone completely non-smoking. In Edmonton (just north of where I am) they are completely smoke free. No smoking in any public place. It's fantastic to go to a pool bar without coming home reeking like an ashtray. In my city the law is that there cannot be smoking in a public place where minors are allowed. So bars still allow smoking but restaurants, malls, etc. are smoke free.

I'd pay extra for a kid free cruise, with more non-smoking areas and more days at sea.

We go on a cruise not to be pampered but not to have schedule a day full of activities. Having to worry about buying overpriced tours or finding my own or even jsut riding a crappy taxi, bus or mule to a touristy area with the shops hawking thier crappy wares gets old after a few cruises.

We all pay good money for 3 meals a day, room cleaning and access to the sun etc.

Why should we pay extra to lose any of that to have to pay for our meals on land?

We're trying to find more trans-ocean or repositioning cruises.

Problem is none of the cruise lines publish or promote these types of cruises very well.

By the Way...spell check is free. When you hit reply to thread, in the top right hand corner of the box, above the smilies, is a check mark with an ABC above it. That is spell check. You just have to download it and it works every time, if you remember to use it before you hit submit reply. However, you can always hit "edit" and go back in and check your spelling again. It is a wonderful addition to the cruise critic message boards.

A reformed smoker since 1986, we were on the Constellation, Celebrity's premier ship and the smoke was so bad, there was hardly a place we could go and enjoy ourselves. I even stopped someone going into the main theater area smoking a cigarette. You couldn't go near the outdoor grill because people were smoking right at the pool. All the lounges had smoking on one side of the room that quickly carried over to the other side. Forget the casino...that was really bad. We went up to see Cirque de Soleil (doesn't correct in spell check...sorry if I misspelled it) and the smoke screen was half way down the room. We had to air out our clothes on the veranda. It was one of my least favorite cruises. The ship was gorgeous but not being able to freely roam and enjoy all the lounges and such was a real bummer. Sorry, but a smoke free environment along with a tour of the entire ship would be great.
