One thing to note, however, is that the card for the additional $25 expires on 2/29/2017. And, yes, I realize that there is no such date as 29 Feb in 2017, I'm just quoting directly from the email that brought my $25 electronic OBC card to me. Luckily, we have a cruise that is departing on 28 Feb 2017! :p

Tom - Have you checked the balance of your $25 gift card? My daughter and I both purchased a $500 card (which worked fine, and credited our balance due on a cruise for next year) however, the $25 card was invalid and shows no balance when you do a balance inquiry. After calling the gift card people, they admitted there was a problem with the loading of the $25 promotional cards and they don't know when it will get fixed. :mad:

I got 3 bonus cards and none of them worked. But the 3 paid $500.00 cards went through fine.

A post on a similar thread says the system that handles the bonus cards is not working and they don't know when it will be fixed.

The bonus cards are supposed to limited to one per person for the promotion. Now you have the Princess IT people 'going crazy'.

No haven't checked the balance yet, but will do so later this evening. My wife and I are going to use the $500 ones to pay down an upcoming Panama Canal cruise that departs on 27 or 28 (can't remember which right now) Feb. Will probably also use the 2 $25 ones we got (she got one for me and I got one for her) so we'll see then.

You don't have to cruise in three months, you have to use the card. You could put the $25 toward a cruise booked for 2018.

Heidi from Princess Gift Card Support sent me an email stating the problem is being worked, with resolution hoped for by this Friday.

Nope, didn't check the card but did go and use both my $500 gift card to my wife, her $500 gift card to me and both her and my $25 gift cards to pay off part of our 28 Feb 17 Panama canal cruise and they all 4 uploaded without a glitch and took $1050 off what we owed. :) So, so far, so good! Now, as long as I don't get a "Hey, Tom..." email from Princess in the next couple of days, I'll be okay.

Just spoke with them. They are already fixing it. On THEIR end they can NOW at least see the balances, even though I can't. Told me I should be able to see mine by the end of the weekend, if not sooner.

planning on taking advantage of this for our upcoming cruise in january. i'm assuming, once applied to the onboard account, it can offset any chips bought at the table and/or credits put into a slot machine? didn't notice casino as one of the restricted items. was hoping someone could confirm. thanks!

Gee, Tony, I'd do that but I just used those 2 $25 gift cards to make payments on my Feb. Panama cruise. But I do have an expired $25 card that I just found hat I've never used that expired on 15 Sep 2015. Would you like me to send you that?
