B2B wine

I will be doing a B2B in Nov. on the Vista and would like to bring my 2 bottles of wine on the first leg of the trip. How do we get the other 2 bottles to our cabin on the 2nd leg of the B2B?? Do we just bring 4 bottles on during our 1st leg....Thanks

That's what I've also heard. Just print your boarding pass for the 2nd cruise & you should be fine.

We brought all 4 on board and they "confiscated" 2 of them until the last day of the first cruise. We had to pick them up just like alcohol purchased in port/on ship. No big deal, but seemed weird. This was several years ago, so could have changed.

We boarded with 4 bottles and had no problem. We simply presented the boarding pass for the second leg of the cruise and that was good enough!

We boarded with 4 bottles and had boarding pass for 2nd cruise, which we never had to show. They were only concerned that the bottles were not hard liquor.

Someone has also reported on here that contract security personnel, even when shown the boarding pass/cruise documents for the second leg, didn't have the common sense or logic to let them through with their wine allowance for the second leg of the B2B. They had to insist on calling a Carnival supervisor, who let them through the wine allowance for both legs.

Like everything else with Carnival, consistently inconsistent.

Same for us on the Conquest this past January. Just make sure you have both sets of boarding passes.

We did have to do the supervisor route at Canaveral once. Took no time for him to look at the boarding passes and say they are correct.

Don't have to bring boarding pass any more, just an e copy or boarding screenshot.

And yet...

On our B2B in January (Galveston), we showed boarding passes and still security said no. We showed an email from John Heald saying B2B's get to take their wine on, and still they said no. We asked for a supervisor, and even they said no. After much fighting and fussing - and holding up lines as EVERYONE was bringing wine for both halves - they did finally agree that the extra bottles would be taken and held, UNTIL THE END OF THE B2B. Yup, no wine for the second half. Sooooo... Kinda depends on who and where.
