interesting considering they should have been heading towards different docks and a harbor pilot should have been manning both ships?

 

The Legend would have been leaving first and probably had the inside band at the Puerta Maya pier. If she was backing out and winds caught her broadside, she would have drifting into the Enchantment docked at the International pier.

there is a webcam at the international pier, at last check there were no ships there. there is a carnival ship docked at the pueta maya pier.

It looks like the Carnival ship is still in port on the webcam. I assume it would normally be gone by now, so this seems to confirm that something is going on.

I got friends currently on the Enchantment.. the Legend collided with it.. the harbor attempted to get a tugboat between the 2 ships but it was too late.

Carnival Imagination is scheduled to leave a 9pm, it looks like ,so that accounts for the funnel, unless someone can find more than one.

Per marinetraffic, Legend and Enchantment are still off Cozumel. Both are moving but no clear direction, yet.

 

Enchantment seems ot be up over 15 knots and Legend is now over 10
