Burrito bar on the Dream

Good afternoon! My DS and I will be onboard the Dream on 06/19/10. he is addicted to burritos. Can someone tell me where the burrito bar is located and if it's open during embarkation. Thanks!

It will be open or at least should be. It is in the center section of aft Lido dining area.

Do they have flour and corn tortillas?

For burritos, just flour as far as I know. When they have tacos (sometimes in Lido or the Mexican buffet) that would be corn.

I go for the "shrimps" and the "flammed corn". I know that community policy forbids comments on misspellings/grammatical errors in people's posts, but that doesn't apply to a sign on the ship, does it?

A "midnight" buffet one night on a 7 day cruise. Maybe they are on shorter cruises, but not sure.

yes it is open during embarkation.

I ate their every other day , alternating with the deli for lunch.

If the "Taste of Nations" has a Mexician menu on one of the days for lunch, that will give you another opportunity for Mexican food. We had it on the 9 day Dream cruise.

The last 3 ships I was on, all had it....Splendor, Liberty and the Dream.:D

The Dreams BBar was great. I would eat two, then get another to take back to the cabin and eat cold later on. They open it and the PBar from 12-14:30. We would get there at 14:00 and no waiting at all. GF would order at the PBar and would have her pasta delivered to the table by the time I walked up with my burritos. There are many sauces that you can get in little tubs.

 

The Mex. buffet had deep fryed chili realinos, lots of different chips, some speciality things and you ordered the tacos last individually. I think is was the Costa Maya night.

Is this Burrito bar on all the ships now? I'm sailing on the pride end of Jan and never heard of this.

It was really good...but more than I could eat.

 

I loved the Mongolian Wok....well worth the standing in line since it is made individually for each person!!!
