Carl where are you? Hope you are staying warm...what did you think of last night's game?

Well I finally went and bought tickets for the Sharks...the last home game of the season! It should be interesting since they are playing the Kings.

Here I am. :-)

Been soooo busy, sorry I haven't been by for a while.

this week our daughter is on Voyager, so we're babysitting our grandson Zigggy.

he's a 120lb great Dane. Jetti is having a blast with him.

 

How's your car doing?

Hi everyone its hard to believe that this Northern California thread has no dedicated 49er fans posting. On the other hand maybe some of you are and just have not posted similar to myself. We are dedicated 49er fans in good times (like now) and bad times like the last few years. Last Saturday's game was one of the best football games on record for me. The ups and downs just about gave me a heart attack. So moving on to tomorrow we didn't get tickets to the game yet we will be sitting at home surrounded by family cheering on our Northern California San Francisco 49ers. :)

I'm not a huge NFL fan, but always support our local teams. Go 49ers!

We are in Honolulu now...we will be home on Sun. We've been here since

Tue and it 's been great ...perfect weather...so comfortable...miss youball.

 

Welcome pkt...pls come in and with us often .. Virginia,too...glad you found this thread. Sorry about our niners...watched the game, started watching it when we were walking around the aloha towers then we decided to come back to our little suite to watch on our own tv ...wow-- would have been nice to be in the super bowl so I can wear my Garfield niners tanker that day...but no matter who plays, I always wear that tshirt with pride.

 

Carl, Janice, Yvonne and all the Sharks fan...go team!

Carl, oh wow Ziggy could really knock me over; glad Jetti enjoys the company. FYI, did your daughter sail out of New Orleans? If so she should stop by our 2-23-13 Navigator thread and let us know what she thought of the ports and NOLA.

Oh before I forget, I got tickets to the Sharks final regular season home game on April 7th against the Kings. We will be in Section 109, row 2, seats 3 & 4! Perhaps you and SJGAL could be there too!

 

I got my car back last Wednesday and it looks good but still cautious...think of getting a diagnostic check through AAA what do you think?

I live in Pleasanton now. I grew up in Suisun and lived in Reno for 8 years in between :)

Wow my dad was born in Sacramento and grew up in Suisun so I do know where that is...

DH and I love many of the restaurants in downtown Pleasanton and then the Livermore wineries are nearby too; it is a nice weekend getaway for us.

Yvonne, DH and I are 49er fans and I have rooted for them from their days in Kezar Stadium. DH is in a funk because we lost but Jim Harbaugh and team need to be congratulated on their efforts...who would have thought a rookie coach could go this far his first year. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be.

Janice...while in the Philippines last week, we had their version of shave ice everyday, so I've had my fill....right now we are eating lots of local/Asian food.

Hola Northern California Cruisers...I know that many are you are still in a funk after Sunday. However, I just want to reassure you that you have nothing to be ashamed about - the 49ers exceeded expectations.

Now onto my favorites the Sharks, way to go a win!

Our daughter just got back from their cruise out of New Orleans on Voyager. They had a great time! Just their second cruise and first without mom and dad. They hit bad weather and couldn't dock at Fallmouth, diverted to Montego Bay. They're tour guide said that happens a lot at Fallmouth since it's not a very protected port.

Carl, once she gets settled Carol and I would love to hear about her highlights...did dear daughter do a pre or post tour of New Orleans? We spent a long weekend in NOLA a year before Hurricane Katrina hit. Patrick and I loved the city!

They had been to N.O. before, so they kinda knew what they wanted to do before hand. Stayed at the Holiday Inn french quarter. Said the hotel was nice. Close to bars and food, also close to port.

Hello Carl!

We were in NOLA before Katrina and I guess the French Quarter area has totally bounced back because they were not really impacted. Next February we will be on the Navigator doing the same itinerary that is unless RCI changes it before...so looking forward to sailing out of New Orleans; a chance to revisit.

I will have to look up where the Holiday Inn is...we are partial to the Hilton properties.

Carol, we had a relaxing day at home. We went to River Rock Casino yesterday but no luck; the machines were tight! Ugh, back to reality tomorrow...

Hope everyone had a nice long-weekend and for those lucky ones I am so jealous since everyday is a holiday!

Sounds like you made your deposit Janice! someday it'll be back in your hands and more cuz of the interest - but if the casino's interrest is like the ones from the banks right now, than you won't get much! at least get your deposits back!! glad you had fun -
