FreshOffTheBoat Posted August 28, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2010 Thanks for posting that, I will be on a ship for the first time that has this restuarant in October. So I will have to give it a try once.
yogimax Posted August 28, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2010 By all means try the Oreo Fudge Sundae, best thing on the menu!
Tonichef Posted August 28, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2010 Thanks for the menu, I think previous poster is right, you should go to JR's once. Do you happen to have a copy of Portofino menu, (not the one on the RCI website)?
Loralie Posted August 28, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 28, 2010 looks good...has anyone tried the milkshakes? I LOVE milkshakes! Yum!!!:D
Mattysgirl Posted August 28, 2010 #8 Share Posted August 28, 2010 There is a surcharge per person of (I think) $4.95 correct me if wrong, for the food items, but it does not include the milkshakes and it does not include a soda unless you have purchased the soda "package" from the ship. What can you eat there without being charged "extra" . For instance, are all the other desserts (not milkshakes) included in the surcharge, burgers fries, onion rings etc. AND, you can have as many as you want at your sitting correct or not. I know there's a free frozen yogurt station on the pool deck. It isn't open 24 hours a day, but it's a great treat. On a previous sailing, my son told me once that he and his friend went in and they sat down just to get some fries and onion rings and waters and they weren't charged the surcharge.. ('on the house', the waiter said...) just because they weren't busy at all. I thought that was a nice surprise. ......THANKS .....

nanfromatlanta Posted August 28, 2010 #10 Share Posted August 28, 2010 Once was enough for me. I agree. There used to be one near where I live. The only time we ate there was when someone from out of town who was visiting us wanted to go there. I hate those greasy burgers... yuck!! :p
cluelyss18 Posted August 28, 2010 #11 Share Posted August 28, 2010 My computer will only let me view attachments, ya know, the little paper clip in the subject...any chance someone could put the menu in as that?
Prttybrown Posted August 28, 2010 #12 Share Posted August 28, 2010 Anybody got a Johnny Rockets menu? I know its not the same as the land based JR's. Thanks I love JR! But the ship doesn't carry some of the newer items like mini Chili-Cheese Dogs or even Mini Burgers... Sad but true. The milkshakes are too die for! Marilyn Johannes Posted August 29, 2010 #16 Share Posted August 29, 2010 We were on Mariner last week, ate at JR one night. They have added 2 salads to the above menu, grilled chicken salad and chicken tender salad.
